Baker Mayfield has been forced to speak on the Odell Beckham Jr. debacle all week long. And so far, he’s handled the situation decently well.

Specifically, Baker was asked if he was ‘hurt’ by the video.

“Hurt? No. Surprised? Yes. There’s different things that factor into it. I’ve had conversations with his dad before, man to man, face to face. I was pretty surprised by the video and the intention and feelings behind it,” he said.

It feels like the Baker Mayfield-Odell Beckham Jr. marriage is nearing it’s end. But the two will be tied together for the rest of their respective careers for never making it work in Cleveland.
