The Rangers-Capitals Game Turned Into A Bloodbath After Tom Wilson Injured Artemi Panarin Last Game

After Tom Wilson went fully insane, and injured Artemi Panarin earlier in the week, it was a foregone conclusion that there would be some fireworks in Wednesday’s matchup between the Capitals and Rangers. But no one could have imagined it being this electric.

Right as the puck was dropped, multiple fights broke out between the Rangers and Capitals.

Shortly after, Tom Wilson jumped onto the ice, and the Rangers’ Brendan Smith went right after him.

After a few more scrums, the penalty boxes for both teams was truly a sight to see.

This all could have been avoided if the NHL just did what they should have with Tom Wilson. Even if you aren’t going to suspend him for a while, you at least should have given him one-game slap on the wrist with him playing against the Rangers later in the week.

With that being said, most NHL fans seem amused to watch some good old-fashioned brawling for a night.

Both teams are going to have to make sure they have their fighting straps secured, we’re in for a long night. I’d expect some more Tom Wilson action.
