Tom Brady Speaks On Snubbing Nick Foles After Super Bowl 52

Tom Brady has been known to be a bit of a bad sport in the past. But perhaps no fan base has been more vocal about Brady’s snubbing efforts than the Eagles have remained after TB12 refused to shake Nick Foles’ hand after Super Bowl 52.

After that game, Brady ran straight to the locker room. And with the Eagles looming in the playoffs this weekend, Tom was asked if he’s aware that fans still have it out for him because he snubbed Nick Foles.

“No, I’m not,” Brady said while laughing. “I’m not.”

“I’ve shaken Nick’s hand plenty of times, though,” Tom Brady added. “So I have a lot of respect for Nick. I try to be a good sport as best I can. I know it doesn’t always look like that, because sometimes I get a little pissed out there. But for the most part I try to be a good sport.”

However, when Nick Foles and the Bears beat the Buccaneers in 2020, Brady once again chose not to shake Foles’ hand at midfield.

Despite besting Tom Brady twice, Nick Foles was relegated to being the third string quarterback in Chicago this season. While Brady has himself as a favorite to win back-to-back Super Bowls.

There’s no doubt that Brady still kicks himself over the few losses he’s had over the years (especially in the Super Bowl). And he must be a little salty that a QB of Foles’ caliber was actually able to get the better of him.

But when push comes to shove, it doesn’t seem like Tom Brady has a personal vendetta against Nick Foles. At least nothing he’s willing to mention publicly.
