Tua Tagovailoa has been through a lot the last few weeks, as there’s been numerous reports the Dolphins are trying to replace him as their starter. To add to his woes, Tua has missed three games with fractured ribs.

Late on Tuesday night it was reported the Texans and Dolphins have agreed on trade terms for Deshaun Watson. Only one contingent, there can’t be any legal issues hanging over his head.

Tua was asked if he felt as if the Dolphins don’t want him to be their QB.

He dropped a double negative, confusing the hell out of everyone.

Via Pro Football Talk:

“I don’t not feel wanted,” Tagovailoa said, via Joe Schad of the Palm Beach Post.

Head coach Brian Flores has said repeatedly that Tagovailoa “is our quarterback” and Tagovailoa said on Wednesday that he has “the utmost confidence and trust” that he is the quarterback in Miami.

That’s one way to say it.

It seems like the Dolphins want Tua as long as there’s no one else available that’s better than him.

Tua might need a change of scenery already.
