After the game, Udonis Haslem wasn’t too apologetic, and said he wishes he could have stayed in the game to talk some more smack.

“I was planning on talking way more s*** after the game about my rebounding stats,” Haslem said via The Sports Rush. “It didn’t work out like that.”

Haslem would go on to say that if this is it for him, it’s fitting tat he goes out with an ejection.

Udonis Haslem is 40-years-old, and has embodied the Heat culture that has made them successful for so many years under Pat Riley. After the game, even coach Erik Spolestra had to marvel at the moment of Haslem getting booted just a couple of minutes into his season.

Spolestra said it was his, “favorite moment of the year” so far.

“Excessive passion competitiveness and anger. Just love it, and thats why we roll with UD,” Spoelstra said via The New York Post. “Everybody in that locker room just has great respect and love for him.”
