Urban Meyer’s Daughter Gigi Goes On Instagram Rant After Her Dad Was Fired By The Jaguars

It was only a matter of time before Urban Meyer was let go as head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars.

His 13-game tenure was marred in controversy, with the final straw being when former kicker Josh Lambo accused the coach of kicking him during a team practice earlier in the season.

As people were blasting Urban Meyer on social media, his daughter Gigi thought the need to punch back.

During an Instagram rant, Gigi defended Urban’s character and lashed out at anyone who refers to her dad as a “bully”.

“The enemy (aka the world) really doesn’t wanna see good people win,” she wrote. “And you can argue whether my dad is a ‘good person’ or not based on what you see in the media (super reliable source of info as we know.

“Anyone who truly knows us knows how incredible he is as a person. And the world hates any platform we have, so he’s going to create chaos to destroy it. Little does he know he’s making it stronger. It’s not over. Keep watching.”

Urban Meyer will likely have some trouble landing on his feet given how bad everything went down during his time in Jacksonville.

He was a distraction early and often. And even though he is still one of the most successful head coaches in college football history, it’ll be hard to really see him get a shot at any blue blood program in the near future.

Luckily for Urban Meyer, “family is everything” to him. And now he’ll have plenty of extra time to spend with Gigi and the rest of the Meyer clan.
