Urban Meyer Being Linked To USC Job Following The Clay Helton News

Urban Meyer might be in his first year with the Jacksonville Jaguars. But that won’t stop fans from thinking about how the potential move to USC could make for a dream scenario.

Late Monday afternoon, the Trojans made the long-awaited announcement that they were firing head football coach Clay Helton.

Almost simultaneously, some rumors began to surface that Urban Meyer wasn’t really all-in with the Jaguars.

While those reports have yet to be substantiated, fans were still quick to bring up the possibility of Urban Meyer leaving Jacksonville for the USC gig.

So far, College football insiders have been compiling lists of potential replacements for Clay Helton at USC.

Urban Meyer is currently viewed as a serious candidate, while coaches such as James Franklin, Matt Campbell, Mario Cristobal, P.J Fleck, and others have been thought of as more likely candidates.

It might be a long shot that Urban Meyer comes to rescue the Trojans, but we won’t stop USC fans of dreaming.
