Zion Williamson Makes His Decision on this Year’s Dunk Contest

Zion to Dunk, or not to Dunk, that is the question. This year’s All-Star game will feel a little bit different, as the festivities will all be taking place on the same night. The Slam Dunk Contest will take place at halftime, while the 3-Point Contest and Skills Challenge will be held prior to the All-Star Game. While this year’s game feels a little strange due to the pandemic, there’s still a bit of excitement over the dunk contest. But now most of that excitement is gone, as NBA star Zion Williamson has announced he will not be participating in the dunk game.

Zion should definitely not go the LeBron route and completely avoid the Dunk contest. Had LeBron won himself a few dunk contests, he’d probably not have quite as many haters.

You give the people what they want, and what they want is to see Zion dunking the crap out of the ball.

Hopefully he has a change of heart come next All-Star weekend.
