UCL DFS Picks Today: DraftKings & FanDuel Fantasy Soccer

**All Odds from BetMGM**

Bayern Munich (-588) vs. RB Salzburg (+1,400), over/under 3.5

Liverpool (-189) vs. Inter Milan (+475), over/under 2.5

Forwards/ Midfielders

Mohamed Salah (DraftKings: $9,800, FanDuel $21)

Sadio Mane (DraftKings: $7,200, FanDuel $17)

Liverpool plays host to Inter Milan on a two-game slate. Liverpool took down the first leg of this matchup 2-0 and has been on a roll across all competitions, with six clean-sheet victories in their previous eight outings. The offense sits atop the EPL, alongside Manchester City, with 2.55 expected goals per match and 2.62 actual. They are the better side and will see chances on the counter, as Inter needs to push to find a minimum of two goals to advance.

Mohamed Salah is the EPL leader in shot volume and goals. He contributes on 40% of scoring and comes at a discounted price from a popular choice in Robert Lewandowski. Salah is a core play with an average of 1.2 goal contributions each full-match run as the upside. He is a brace threat the same as Lewandowski and the savings helps balance out a cash game roster. In GPPs one way to go is to jam both forwards and sacrifice at the defender or midfield spot.

Sadio Mane has picked up after a slight drought of scoring. He has contributed on 18% of his club’s scoring and averages 3.39 shots per match, which trails Salah and Diogo Jota. Should Jota find the starting 11, he would be a top play option. The recent starter in his place, Luis Diaz, comes in at a similar cluster of Jota and Mane. In GPP these three can be paired with Salah considering goal contribution above 60%. A leverage play would be going with two of these and dropping Salah from the Lineup in favor of Lewandowski. The risk makes sense if Lewandowski produces at the rate he is capable of to mirror Salah while allowing a roster spot from the featured defender below on the wing for Liverpool.

Karim Adeyemi (DraftKings: $4,600, FanDuel $15)

Thomas Muller (DraftKings: $8,800, FanDuel $18)

Bayern Munich drew in the first leg against RB Salzburg. It is hard to imagine they will not make a stand and see out the result to advance. Lewandowski is a clear play for brace upside and shot volume. His helpers are Leroy Sane, Serge Gnarby and Thomas Muller. Muller leads the club in assists by a wide margin and contributes on 31% of the club’s scoring. His shot volume is just 2.04 per match, trailing the three attackers alongside him. He is distributing a large portion of those attempts, with 4.91 scoring chances created per match. With a similar prices after Lewandowski, on DraftKings the high shot volume and scoring upside would point to Gnarby for a discount and Sane at the same price as Muller. On FanDuel Muller has the advantage with goal contribution and an on-target shooting rate of 47.7%, which trails Lewandowski by just 2 percentage points.

RB Salzburg will need to find goals to keep their hopes alive. Karim Adeyemi has answered the call for them throughout the season, with an average goal per full match run and a shot volume of 3.35. He is viable in GPP on DraftKings and FanDuel. His 50.7% on-target rate gives him some floor even if he fails to score. On DraftKings he is simply too cheap. His shot volume and mix of outside metrics will do enough for a 1x value. The salary relief is worth the scoring upside and allows stacking of the top scoring bunch mixed in MME lineup constructions. Noah Okafor or Junior Adamu can also be one-offs for GPPs, depending on who sees the field. Their speed and willingness to take chances will be enough for the near-free prices.

Other Options: Hakan Calhanoglu (DraftKings: $6,200, FanDuel $15), Ivan Perisic (DraftKings: $5,800, FanDuel $14), Joshua Kimmich (DraftKings: $7,700, FanDuel $15), Curtis Jones (DraftKings: $5,300, FanDuel $14).

Defenders

Andrew Robertson (DraftKings: $6,600, FanDuel $13)

Andrew Robertson handles the indirect sets for his side and does well in open play. He averages 6.51 crosses per match via the even split of open play and set shares. He creates 3.75 scoring chances per match and trails only Salah and Trent Alexander-Arnold. Defensively, Robertson can add value with 2.60 won tackles/interceptions. It is hard to pick between Robertson and Alexander-Arnold. Alexander-Arnold edges him out in the floor metrics and dominates the shot volume comparison. The discount with Robertson is easier to fit, and without a goal contribution he stands to outproduce Alexander-Arnold on a price-per-dollar comparison. In cash games both make sense to pair and or as a utility on DraftKings. There are cheap punting options such as Lucas Hernandez to help fit these floor wingbacks with attacking pieces from both Bayern and Liverpool.

Other Options: Trent Alexander-Arnold (DraftKings: $7,800, FanDuel $15), Lucas Hernandez (DraftKings: $3,700, FanDuel $10), Rasmus Kristensen (DraftKings: $3,200, FanDuel $11)

Goalkeepers

Alisson (DraftKings: $5,600, FanDuel $11)

Philip Kohn (DraftKings: $3,600, FanDuel $7)
