Another day and it is another monster slate with over 31 matches. There is a good mixture of WTA and ATP matches that include some spots we will try and take advantage of. Let’s dive right in to the DraftKings tennis DFS picks for this slate on Tuesday, Feb. 2.
DraftKings Tennis DFS Picks | Feb. 2
Tennis DFS Pick: Garbine Muguruza ($9,100)
Opponent: Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova
Opened at -255
I expect this matchup between two players coming off of dominant performances to be entertaining. Garbine Muguruza currently leads the head-to-head against Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova 5-to-1. Pavlyuchenkova showed flashes of what she can do in 2020, but Muguruza in her current form should prove to be too much. Muguruza is currently 20-7 since 2020, and I expect her improve upon that in this favorable matchup.
Tennis DFS Pick: Jeremy Chardy ($7,500)
Opponent: Gilles Simon
Odds to win: +100
Jeremy Chardy somehow always finds a way to beat Gilles Simon on the hard surface. Chardy is coming off of a match where he was dominated in most areas but still overcame the skill gap to get the win. Chardy hasn’t lost a match to Simon since 2015, and to add to that, two of Chardy’s three wins are on hardcourt. Expect this match to be close, but Chardy should be able to pull through in a tough, three-set battle.
Tennis DFS Pick: Kevin Anderson ($9,900)
Opponent: Cedrik-Marcel Stebe
Opened at -500
This is a matchup with potential for a big score. Cedrik-Marcel Stebe tends to lose in straight sets against players in the top 100. Kevin Anderson is coming off of a match in which he won over 87% of his first-serve points to go along with just one double fault. Stebe in his recent form hasn’t been very impressive, and I don’t really see a path to victory for him here. Anderson should win in straight sets.
Tennis DFS Pick: Ann Li ($8,700)
Opponent: Ellen Perez
Opened at -227
Ann Li currently leads the head-to-head 1-0 against Ellen Perez, who has been off to a rough start since 2020 (3-5 on hardcourt). Li is coming off of one of her best years, winning 17 matches to only seven losses as well as a finals win to end off her 2020 season. Perez has been average at best on this surface, and Li should have no problem getting past her as she chases another finals appearance.
