So we follow up an incredibly fun four game slate with a drag of a two game slate. I mean this is the EMAC of two game slates. Anyways, both of these games have a fairly healthy blow out risk and we get the added bonus of three of the slowest teams in the league playing. Dallas Wings Guards
Brooke McCarthy Williams has been over 20 minutes the last two games. Additionally Kaela Davis is still suspended. She is probably my favorite guard punt on the slate. If you think this game is going to be close Arike Ogwunale is probably the reason, but I really don’t like a volume shooting rookie guard on the road. Alicia Gray can be used in GPPs but you have to hope for some steals.
Dallas Wings Forwards
Kayla Thorton is underpriced and her minutes were down last game. I tend to expect those to rebound. Isabelle Harrison has been getting consistent 30 minutes. It’s an awful matchup but she can spike an upside sometimes.
Minnesota Lynx Guards
Odyssey Sims is a strong play on this slate. She likes to chuck and stat hunt and this should be a great game for both. Lexi Brown exploded last game but that was still in just 20 minutes. I still like her as salary saver even though she is probably over owned. Danielle Robinson is an intriguing low owned GPP play for a two game slate.
Minnesota Lynx Forwards
Both Sylvia Fowles and Napheesa Collier are in great spots. Play one or play both. No one on Dallas will stop them. I have a slight lean towards Fowles but it’s real slight.
Indiana Fever Guards
Kennedy Burke is near the min on both sites and has played 20 minutes in back to back games. She is a cash lock. You can fade, however. The matchup is awful. Her getting 10 fantasy points is very possible here. Tiffany Mitchell is also a very strong play with secure minutes. Erica Wheeler’s minutes are down and her price tag is sky high. She is hard to play. Kelsey Mitchell is a shot in the dark.
Indiana Fever Forwards
Tearia McCowan played thirty minutes last game. Hopefully this is a sign of things to come as she is their best young player. She is also my favorite fade on this slate. This is as tough a matchup as they come for a big, especially one that is going to be popular. I would rather swap to Candice Dupree, who also got the same minutes. Dupree will he half as owned and I like her in GPPs.
LA Sparks Guards
Riqua Williams is back. She is going to put a wrench into the guard rotation and steal lots of Sydney Weise’s minutes. It’s unclear how much Fisher will play her. You can take stabs in GPPs but she is not discounted. Chelsea Gray is safe with usage and minutes regardless of Williams return.
LA Sparks Forwards
Candace Parker finally had a big game and appears to have fully returned. Both her and Nneka Ogwumike are elite plays here. Indiana’s frontline is poor and will not be able to stop them. You can play one or both. I tend to lean Parker. Maria Vadeeva is an interesting play if you want to take a blow out angle.
