Dallas Wings Guards

Arike Ogunbowale is basically Allen Iverson in the WNBA. She will shoot and suck up the usage when she is on the court. The only question is whether her shots go in. She is absurdly underpriced on FanDuel for her usage, but on DraftKings she is properly priced. Honestly, I like the idea of fading her because this is a bad matchup for her. The Sparks play slow and have above average guard defense. The pivot off a chalky Arike is Alicia Gray. She is two years removed from winning rookie of the year. The downer is Arike has sucked her usage away, but I like her here at one third the ownership.

Dallas Wings Forwards

Glory Johnson returned from Europe and only got fourteen minutes last game. That is concerning for her and her value. So that leaves us with Theresa Plaisance, Isabelle Harrison and Kayla Thorton. Thorton has shot poorly the last couple of games and that is the reason for her disappointing scores. She is over priced on FanDuel but a great bargain on DraftKings. I prefer the upside of Harrison to Plaisance but both are solid plays that I prefer more on FanDuel.

LA Sparks Guards

Chelsea Gray is probably the safest play on the slate as far as output. Her minutes are secure and her usage is secure. While I wouldn’t expect a triple double, this is a strong spot for her. Riqua Williams is now securely the number two guard on this team scoring close to 30 fantasy points the last two games. I have a feeling she will be popular. One of the strategies I like to use in WNBA is fade shooting dependant players that I think will be popular. That is Williams in a nutshell. If her shot is not falling she will bust. That being said, she is still too cheap on FanDuel.

LA Sparks Forwards

This is where this DFS contests will be lost or won. Candace Parker laid an egg against Washington on Sunday where she was highly owned, and now she is the highest priced player on the slate. I hope people do not play her because in my mind she is odds on to be the highest owned player on the slate. NNeka Ogwumike exploded last game and won people GPPs. She is a strong player and capable of that. Her price is down so she will be popular. I like paying up for Parker but in cash Nneka is probably the play.

Chiney Ogwumike was in massive foul trouble last game which resulted in her low score. She is over priced for her role but you can take a shot in GPP. Now we get to Marie Vadeeza. She has been in Europe for the last three weeks playing in the national championships. She played one game against Vegas, put up 40 fantasy points and left for Europe. Now it must be said Parker missed that game, but she is the stone minimum on both sites. If we get word she is playing you should lock her in because her at 17 minutes can break a slate.

Cash Core: Ogunbowale, Nneka, Thorton (DK) Harrison (FD), Gray, Williams (FD)

GPP plays: Parker, Gray, Vadeeza
