WNBA DFS Picks September 5th: Where in the world is Tiffany Hayes? (FREE)

WNBA DFS Picks: Tonight’s slate will lock on FanDuel and DraftKings at 7:30PM ET. This slate features three teams that are trying and one awful team that has thrown in the towel let the fun begin.

Atlanta Dream Guards

So the question on this slate is Where in the world is Tiffany Hayes and is she going to play basketball today. If Tiffany Hayes decides to play, my guess is we get the typical Atlanta backcourt minutes which is rotations that resemble your average middle school basketball team (everybody gets 20). However if she is out, that bumps a bunch of the plays here Alex Bentley would move and start, Renee Montgomery and Brittany Sykes would have guranteed minutes. And Maite Cazola would probably spend 20 minutes on the court not doing anything but being the best punt play on the slate.

Atlanta Dream Forwards

Elizabeth Williams popped to thirty minutes last game and is too cheap on FanDuel. Other than that shots on Nia Coffey or Marie Gulch are not insane. I would wait for the Atlanta Starting lineup there could be a surprise starter or two for this game and I would play whoever that is.

Las Vegas Aces

Kelsey Plum is on a roll and I am here for it. My tireless faith and persistance has paid off. She is way too cheap on FanDuel still, I actually think she is a sharp fade. She is still shooting dependant and really any one on Vegas can score 20 against Atlanta. This makes me very interested in Kayla McBride, it would make some sense for Vegas to feed her to get her confidence back and her price is way too cheap on the sites now.

Las Vegas Aces Forwards

Elizabeth Cambage and Aja Wilson should destroy in this game, nobody on Atlanta should be able to stop them. I always lean Cambage in road games, but really there are going to be like forty people at this game, so play either one.

Seattle Storm Guards

Jewel Lloyd is too cheap for the minutes she plays and the ability she has on both sites. I have been riding the Jordin Canada train the last two slates, this is where I get off, the Sparks have experience guards that will not give her easy steals.

Seattle Storm Forwards

Natasha Howard is matchup proof that being said I have a feeling Nneka is going to play. If you think Nneka plays Howard could becomes a sharp fade. Mercedes Russell and Alysha Clark are both safe plays, I lean Russell because she is cheaper but if I had the extra money I would play Clark (tout hedge).=

LA Sparks Forwards

This slate comes down to whether you think Nneka Ogwumike will play, I lean that she plays. Last game she missed was against Atlanta and they figured they would beat Atlanta without her. Seattle is a different beast so I think she plays. If she does not play then you should go back to Chiney Ogwumike, Marie Vadeeva and Candace Parker. That being said this is a two game slate, I love the idea on FanDuel of playing Nneka in a GPP and getting her sub 5%.

LA Sparks Guards

Chelsea Gray is the best guard play on the slate regardless of if Nneka plays or not. Honestly whether you play Chelsea or not heavily depends on if Hayes plays, if Hayes is out I would rather go with value guards and spend up at forward. Riqua Williams let everyone down on Tuesday this is a strong spot to go back to her. Williams is under priced on FanDuel and over priced on DraftKings.
