WNBA Fantasy: The WNBA DFS Break Down, Picks and Sleepers, June 14 (FREE)

Welcome to the WNBA DFS Breakdown with Seth Stinehour.

So today we have a four game WNBA DFS slate for June 14. As of writing this we only have prices for DraftKings, so I will break this down from a DraftKings perspective. The one thing that stands out to me right now is that pricing is tight on DraftKings and there are no obvious values.

Liz Cambage

Fifth Highest priced power forward on the slate, but her minutes are creeping up and Lambeer is under pressure to win. I have Cambage projected as the highest scorer of the slate. I think her minutes could climb to thirty.

DeWanna Bonner

Not sure what else needs to be said at this point. Every day she is the strongest guard play.  Yes the Sparks have a decent defense. I don’t care, she always gets fifty.

Ella Della Donne

She keeps disappointing and I keep going back to her. This must be how EMac’s parents feel when he comes home to visit. Every game there’s  something that stops her from smashing: blowouts or matchups or a teammate getting hot. She is still too cheap and she’s at home. I’m mildly concerned about them blowing out Seattle.

Natasha Howard, Alyssa Thomas

These are the two stud forwards I have no interest in, with such bad matchups. With Thomas if I’m playing a Sun big it’s Jonquel Jones.

Jonquel Jones

The matchup sucks. Minnesota plays slow and are tough defensively. Jones also might be the best player in the league so I’m not going to tell you to fade her. She is averaging forty a night.

Sylvia Fowles, Brittany Griner

Here are two stud forwards that have let a lot of people down recently that I think will be under owned. Of the two I prefer Griner. The Sparks defense doesn’t scare me without Parker. That being said Fowles at home is never a bad play. I will have some.

Asa Wilson

She has clearly taken a back seat to Cambage. But consider this, last year we would have killed to roster Wilson under 10k at home against the Liberty. She will probably be five percent in this spot too.

Nneka

I like her a lot better than Chiney in this spot. Phoenix’s defense is nothing to fear at this point.

Chelsea Gray, Jasmine Thomas

If forced to choose high priced guards not named Bonner these are the two I like. You attack Phoenix with guards. Gray has one of the higher usages for a guard and is playing at home. Jasmine Thomas gets to play Minnesota’s guards who are horrible and turn it over a ton.

Mercedes Russell

The matchup sucks but so does the value on this slate. She is under 6k and playing 30 minutes.

Kia Nurse & Asa Durr

Hartley and Allen are gone. The Liberty almost have to play these two thirty minutes. I prefer Durr, as I think she’s safe from a blow out. Nurse is so up and down, if she is going to be highly owned, I don’t want to be in that number.

Ruffin Pratt

Of the cheap Sparks guards she is probably the one with the safest minutes. A word to the wise: don’t chase Riqua Williams.

Tanisha Wright

Wright has played twenty minutes the last two games. If Nurse or Durr really struggle she could be in line for extra run. I like her as a value play.

Stephanie Talbot

This is a minutes play and they don’t have anyone else to play. Lexie Brown left last game with a sprained ankle. Jessica Shepherd is out with a knee. Really, all the Lynx are in play, but Talbot should be the top back up for both. If Brown were playing it would make me like it less,  but there is a scenario where she could ge to thirty minutes.

Aerial Powers

She is cheap and people will play her. But, she has yet to get twenty minutes and the last two games have featured some unsustainable shooting percentages.

Cash Core: Cambage, Talbot (if Brown is out) Bonner, Russell

Favorite GPP plays: Griner, Nneka Tanisha Wright, Kelsey Plum (cause I love her)T

Favorite Game Stack: Phoenix-LA Sparks
