Joey Gallo [DK Only]
DK: $3800 | Fpts: B | Value: A

We all know that Joey Gallo has major power. The bigger secret in picking Gallo as a Spotlight hitter is the fact that Gerrit Cole had a HR/FB% of 15.9% last year. That 15.9% rate was tied for 8th worst in the league for 2017. Combine that with a relatively low price and a premium spot in the Rangers order, and you should be off to an excellent start.

Kris Bryant
FD: $4600 | Fpts: A | Value: E
DK: $5400 | Fpts: A | Value: D

At press time, the Cubs have an implied run total of 4.7, which is second for the entire day. That total creates a bunch of opportunities for runs & RBI. All of that is great, and I haven’t even mentioned the right-handed Bryant’s match-up against the unassuming lefty, Dillon Peters. It’s hard to find a better individual match-up on the entire slate.

Tommy Pham
FD: $2800 | Fpts: B | Value: A
DK: $3500 | Fpts: B | Value: A

Taking advantage of the R/L match-up, Pham has an amazing price for a guy hitting second in the Cardinals order. Last year, Pham had a .292/.412/.552 slash line vs. LHP, which is elite level hitting. Pham is a great value in a game that shouldn’t have any weather concerns.
