This weekend, we have a 11-fight card in Jacksonville, including a main event between Alistair Overeem and Walt “Big Ticket” Harris. The main GPP has $100.000 going to first place a total of $400,000 being paid out. Here I offer the fighters I feel have the most upside and value. Let’s get into some MMA DFS Picks.

MMA DFS Picks: Core Plays
Walt “Big Ticket” Harris | DraftKings: $8,700, FanDuel: $22
Harris is a powerful and dangerous fighter and a good athlete that possesses big knockout power in his hands. He will throw hard body kicks and leg kicks and will mix in an occasional head kick. Harris has been developing and improving his grappling game and in the clinch, he throws nasty knees to the head. I think he has a good shot at the knockout late first, early second round. At 77.78, Harris is Awesemo’s highest-projected fighter on the slate. His 8.94 value rating is also the top option on both DraftKings and FanDuel. Awesemo also gives him a 51.8% chance at a knockout.
Miguel Baeza | DraftKings $9,000, FanDuel $20
Baeza will throw nasty knees to the body and head in the clinch, and his long frame allows him to work from the outside. He has nasty kicks that can put opponents lights out in a hurry. Baeza will have a big advantage in speed and quickness, but landing his body kicks will be vital for him in securing the win. Awesemo has him projected at 73.34, which happens to be the second highest on the slate.

Don’Tale Mayes | DraftKings $8,400, FanDuel $17
Mayes Is a good athlete and will close distances, using his jab and straight-right hand while mixing in uppercuts. He will throw nice elbows and hooks in combination. His best and most dangerous strike is his straight left that will put his opponents down when landed clean. Awesemo has him projected at 52% win chance.
MMA DFS: Value Picks
Matt Brown | DraftKings $7,200, FanDuel $17
Brown is an action-packed fighter that likes to stand and throw down. He will throw kicks to the head and mix in a right hook, uppercut combination. The reason I listed him is his ability for a knockout win, which at $7,200, is great value. Brown is currently the TOP leverage play on the slate according to Awesemo’s premium top fighter tool. He has 21% win odds against 11% ownership. At $7,200 and $17, that’s an amazing value you’re going to want to get in your UFC DFS lineups.
Angela Hill | DraftKings $7.100, FanDuel $12
Hill has been on fire, winning her last three fights, two by way of stoppage. She is a good striker with fast hands and she is quick on her feet. I think if Gadelha chooses not to take this fight to the mat, Hill has a strong chance of a win. Awesemo has her projected to score 53.83 fantasy points with 36% win odds.
