DraftKings and FanDuel Spotlight Hitters & Stacks, Sunday 6/17

The following Spotlight Stacks & Hitters were selected by Awesemo.com’s Director of Content Josh Engleman.

Rockies (#1 DraftKings)

  • D.J. LeMahieu
  • Charlie Blackmon
  • Nolan Arenado
  • Carlos Gonzalez

It seems like this is becoming a daily occurrence, but the people of FanDuel are on the outside looking in to one of the best stacks of the day. The Rockies are popping up as my top option on DraftKings with a combo of relatively cheap pricing and talent at premium positions. Being able to start stacks with 2B LeMahieu, 3B Arenado and SS Story makes it much easier to fill out your lines with high-end options. If you don’t want to spend all the way up to someone like Charlie Blackmon, I think Gerardo Parra can give you a unique look for $1900 less.

Tigers (#4 DraftKings / #1 FanDuel)

  • Leonys Martin
  • Nicholas Castellanos
  • Victor Martinez
  • Jeimer Candelario [FD]
  • John Hicks [DK]

All aboard the “Stack Against James Shields” train! While the Tigers rank highly on both sites, the construction is a bit different depending on where you play. On FanDuel, I’m sticking almost exclusively to the guys listed above. On DraftKings, though, I’ll take those five guys up top, plus Niko Goodrum and James McCann. They simply have better prices and positional features on DraftKings.

Astros (#2 DraftKings / #2 FanDuel)

  • George Springer
  • Alex Bregman
  • Jose Altuve
  • Carlos Correa

The Astros look a bit like the Tigers, as I’ll be focusing on the top of the order on FanDuel while I supplement my lines with additional hitters on DraftKings. I don’t have much to say about the guys listed in the Spotlight. They’re simply good. Josh Reddick is a quality budget option on both sites. You’ll struggle to find a better catcher option than Evan Gattis, but if you want to differentiate even further, you can use Brian McCann.
