DuraMAX Drydene 400 NASCAR DFS Tournament & GPP Picks | DraftKings & FanDuel Fantasy Racing

After two wild weekends at Bristol Dirt and Talladega, NASCAR heads back to a more normal track at Dover this Sunday as the drivers will take on the Monster Mile. The way qualifying and practice shook out will make for an interesting DFS slate this weekend. With the grid set and Chris Buescher leading the field to green, let’s dive into some of the best NASCAR DFS Picks today for tournaments.

NASCAR DFS GPP Picks Today: Dover

Dover is one of the smaller tracks on the schedule at only one mile in length, but the banking allows for higher speeds. It is more like a larger Bristol, but there are comparisons to Darlington to a degree. With nearly 300 dominator points available this weekend, dominators are back on the menu to take down tournaments on Sunday.

Top Driver Picks & Projections

Ryan Blaney $10,300 DraftKings/$12,000 FanDuel (5th): The two Hendrick drivers will be very popular up top this weekend, making it somewhat hard to get to a lot of Blaney, which puts him in an excellent spot for tournaments. While this is not a great track for him, the speed he has shown this year can’t be ignored and he was able to dominate at Richmond earlier in the year, which is another track where he historically struggles. Looking at practice, he was right up there with a couple of the Hendrick drivers, and he should be able to contend.

Alex Bowman $10,100 DraftKings/$12,500 FanDuel (6th): This is a similar play to Blaney, but he could end up being the forgotten about Hendrick car this week even though he has won the most here. This has been an excellent track for him, and while there is not a lot of practice data, he should be a contender with his teammates in this one.

Mid-Range Driver Picks & Projections

Ross Chastain $8,600 DraftKings/$9,000 FanDuel (7th): It’s been no secret that Chastain has been elite this year, but the high starting spot will hopefully make NASCAR DFS players stay away from him this weekend. But that is probably a mistake, as he has been able to contend at every single track type so far and has the potential to get up front this weekend at a fair price point.

Austin Dillon $7,600 DraftKings/$6,300 FanDuel (24th): Dillon has been very consistent this year. He has one of the best average finishes in the field, and he continues to excel at all track types. His history at Dover is solid, and he’s been good at similar track types. It’s the price over on FanDuel that is most appealing.

Cole Custer $6,100 DraftKings/$4,500 FanDuel (30th): Custer did not have an impressive mark in practice, but he can improve upon his starting position on Sunday. In his short cup career he has had a lot of success at this track, and the price and starting spot make him a decent pivot off of the chalkier punts down low.

Ryan Preece $5,700 DraftKings/$2,000 FanDuel (13th) No one ever imagined a Rick Ware car would start 13th and be a somewhat viable play. Preece is not the usual driver of the No. 15, but he did show a ton of speed in practice with some borderline top-five numbers. It looks like he may have gotten some SHR juice this weekend, and he is as cheap as it gets over on FanDuel.
