NBA DFS DraftKings Showdown Review | Heat vs. Lakers NBA Finals Game 5
Friday night, in the DraftKings NBA Showdown $1.25 Million Finals Shootaround Special ($250K to 1st, $25 to enter), we had a 49-way tie for first. We also had a 53-eay tie for second and a 493-way tie for third. First place paid out $11,316.32. Five of those 49 first place finishers entered single bullets.
With a team salary of $49,600 and ownership of 210.3%, the key to the slate turned out to be Andre Iguodala at Captain, which allowed the winner to play the three stars with enough salary left over to roster two mid-priced players in the other Utility slots.
There were 58 150-maxers played, accounting for 14.8 % of entries. Sixteen of 58 made money, and 12 had a share of first place. Three out of 58 cashed none, and 11 of 58 cashed fewer than 10. Boom of the night was Jimmy Butler, who went for 7.6x on a salary of $10,800 at 50% ownership. Bust was without a doubt Markieff Morris. Morris went for -0.1x, putting up -0.25 points for $3,600 and owned at 50.5%.
The most popular lineup was played 3,337 times. That lineup had 273% team ownership and it cashed for a $45.83 payout:
