Now on to the recommended plays for tonight’s FanDuel NBA Sim Sport contest.

FanDuel NBA Sim Sports Rules

  • Players are randomly assigned stats from a game they played during the 2019-2020 season.
  • Only players who have scored fantasy points in at least 15 games will be included in the pool.
  • The opponent matchups in each slate are irrelevant for the simulations.
  • Only games where players scored more than zero points will be available to be assigned stats, NO DNPs or Late Scratches.
  • Scoring Example: LeBron James draws a 23 – he will get assigned the stats and Fantasy Points from the 23rd game he played this season: 65.4. Each player will be assigned a different random game.
  • Again listed matchups DO NOT MATTER!

NBA DFS Top-Tier Options

Karl-Anthony Towns – C – $10,600

There is no need to worry about resting, tanking or extended injury layoffs tonight On the season, Karl-Anthony Towns has played in 35 games with an average fantasy score of 49.26 FanDuel points. In 28 of his appearances, he has reached 40 fantasy points. Plus, he has surpassed 50 fantasy points in 17 games. That means we have nearly a 50% chance for his performance to be one of those gorgeous eye-popping outings.

Damian Lillard – PG – $10,200

This has been a season of validation for Damian Lillard who is averaging 28.9 points, 4.3 rebounds, 7.8 assists and 1.45 combined blocks/steals for 47.04 FanDuel points per game. This season, Lillard has topped 45 fantasy points in half of his games. We also have an 8.6% chance that we get one of his five games when he topped 70 FanDuel points.

Anthony Davis – PF – $10,900

It is all about the upside and Anthony Davis certainly has it. On the season, he is posting phenomenal numbers along side LeBron James and in his 55 games, he is averaging 51.99 FanDuel points. Yes, nearly a third of his game scores have been under 45 FanDuel points, but 13 of the 55 (23.6%) have been 61 fantasy points or more.

NBA DFS Mid-Tier Options

LaMarcus Aldrige – PF – $7,300

The 34-year-old veteran is still averaging a tick above his career fantasy-point production. Yes, he has 10 of his 53 games with less than 25 FanDuel points, but nearly a third of his outings have resulted in 44 FanDuel points or more. Plus, we have the added bonus that enough gamers have been burned by him this season that they will hesitate selecting him for their rosters.

Brandon Ingram – SF – $7,600

While he has not been a productive from a fantasy standpoint with Zion Williamson on the court, keep in mind that there are only seven times this season in his 56 games where Brandon Ingram failed to score 30 fantasy points. In 28 games, or half of the time, he reached 40 fantasy points, including nine games of 50 FanDuel points.

Fred VanVleet – SG – $7,200

Nobody other than me is likely to be actively targeting Fred VanVleet in tonight’s simulated contests. In his 48 games this season, he is averaging 36.3 FanDuel points and he has topped 30 in 72.9% of them and 40 in 41.6% of his appearances. You should give him some consideration in tonight’s simulated game.

NBA DFS Bargain Options

Nemanja Bjelica – PF – $5,100

If you are looking for a potential slate breaker, then Nemanja Bjelica is your guy. Through 64 games this season, he is averaging 26.4 FanDuel points, but in 26 of them, he posted a 6x return on today’s $5,100 price tag. That means we have a 40% chance that he will not break our hearts. Additionally, within those games, he had a trio of games with at least 50 fantasy points.

Jordan Clarkson- SG – $4,400

This freeroll is all about swinging for the fences and we have a potential hidden gem with Jordan Clarkson. The game logs are ugly for the most part with him failing to reach 20 FanDuel points 42.8% of the time. However, nearly once every four outings he has topped 29 FanDuel points and we have an 8% chance of landing on one of his 40-burgers.

Jordan McLaughlin – PG – $3,800

This play is most certainly not for the faint of heart, but Jordan McLaughlin does have an 8x outcome on today’s price tag in 20% of games. A full one-third of the time he is not going to crack a dozen FanDuel points. Keep in mind that all we are risking is time and not dollars in today’s FanDuel simulation.
