In this column, we are going to review the basics of Jock MKT, including how it differs from making regular NFL DFS picks and how it aligns with the fantasy football games you already know. Below are three of the best Jock MKT NFL picks for the NFL Sunday Night Market slate, based on the expert NFL DFS projections from the No. 1 DFS player in the world, Alex Baker.
Jock MKT NFL Starter Kit | Week 6 Sunday Night Football
To begin, enter the NFL Daily Market when the Initial Public Offering (IPO) phase is underway. Leading up until kickoff on the slate’s first game, bid on players you are interested in acquiring on the open market. Is there a player who you consider a favorite to finish at the top of the rankings? Invest as much or as little as you want in their fantasy performance, with shares beginning at $1 and ranging all the way up to $25. See potential injury news that could open an opportunity for another player to acquire fantasy points? Make speculative bids for shares of the backup, hoping for that news to break after the IPO phase is complete.
The next part of the game occurs during live trading. Unlike regular NFL DFS, where your plays are locked in, you can buy and sell shares of players while the games are happening based on their production and where you could see them finishing amongst the field. Track as current points, projected points, and live price for each player is updated in real-time, allowing you to track the action and invest in an instant to account for news. Trading can be done all the way up until the final whistle.
Each player share is paid out at the end of the games based on their final rankings of fantasy points amongst the field. If the shares you own are worth more than what you paid, you win money. For more information, check out the Jock MKT website.
Jock MKT NFL Picks for Sunday Night Football
Najee Harris — RB — Pittsburgh Steelers
Najee Harris is in a position to showcase his talents to the world this week, playing on Sunday Night Football. He faces the Seahawks, who have already given up big running back performances. Seattle also doesn’t have Russell Wilson, which should lead to a positive game script for Harris.
The rookie running back has seen an average of 23.4 looks per game this season. This game could lead to an even greater workload. Yes, the game script should be positive. However, with JuJu Smith-Schuster lost for the season, Harris could be more involved in the passing game, as the top two Steelers wide receivers are more intermediate-to-deep threats and the Steelers need someone to work underneath.
Jock MKT ranks Harris second on this slate, but Awesemo projects him to be the top overall scorer. Awesemo also projects Harris to have a value of $17.65, but the payout would be $25 if does finish as the top scorer.
Chase Claypool — WR — Pittsburgh Steelers
With Smith-Schuster out, Chase Claypool should continue to see a larger role. He has started the past three games, with his yards increasing each week. Claypool has 30 total targets in these three games, and he totaled 130 yards and a touchdown last week. The Seahawks have allowed 7.9 yards per pass attempt, which is tied for the fifth-most in the NFL. Clearly, this is good news for Claypool, and it points to another good game for the second-year wide receiver.
Jock MKT ranks Claypool seventh on this slate, which would only pay out $7 per share. However, Awesemo projects Claypool to be the fifth-highest scorer, which pays out $10 per share.
Pat Freiermuth — TE — Pittsburgh Steelers
With Smith-Schuster out, it takes away an underneath weapon for Roethlisberger. The offensive line isn’t magically going to get better, so Roethlisberger will still need to get the ball out of his hands quickly. Rookie tight end Pat Freiermuth could be a candidate to see an increased role. He is playing around half of the snaps, but that should continue to increase as the season progresses. He is also a big, athletic target the Roethlisberger should love in the red zone. The Steelers have passed the ball 22 times in the red zone, compared to only eight running plays. With the Steelers likely to have offensive success, this means Freiermuth could see multiple opportunities to score tonight.
Jock MKT ranks Freiermuth 11th on this slate, which only pays out $3 per share. Awesemo ranks the rookie 12th, though he only needs one touchdown to return a big profit, and he has as good of a chance to score as anyone.
