In this column, we will review the basics of Jock MKT, including how it differs from making regular NFL DFS picks and how it aligns with the fantasy football games you already know. Below are three of the best Jock MKT NFL picks for NFL Week 3, based on the expert NFL DFS projections from the No. 1 DFS player in the world, Alex Baker.

Jock MKT Starter Kit: NFL Picks | Week 3

To begin, enter the NFL Daily Market when the Initial Public Offering (IPO) phase is underway. Leading up until kickoff on the slate’s first game, bid on players you are interested in acquiring on the open market. Is there a player who you consider a favorite to finish at the top of the rankings? Invest as much or as little as you want in their fantasy performance, with shares beginning at $1 and ranging up to $25. See potential injury news that could open an opportunity for another player to acquire fantasy points? Make speculative bids for shares of the backup, hoping for that news to break after the IPO phase is complete.

The next part of the game occurs during live trading. Unlike regular NFL DFS, where your plays are locked in, you can buy and sell shares of players while the games are happening based on their production and where you could see them finishing amongst the field. Track as current points, projected points, and live price for each player is updated in real-time, allowing you to track the action and invest in an instant to account for news. Trading can be done up until the final whistle.

Each player share is paid out at the end of the games based on their final rankings of fantasy points amongst the field. If the shares you own are worth more than what you paid, you win money. For more information, check out the Jock MKT website.

Jock MKT NFL Picks for Week 3

Lamar Jackson — QB — Baltimore Ravens

Heading to the Motor City for Week 3, Lamar Jackson is Awesemo’s top overall play for Jock MKT, and it’s easy to see why. The Lions’ secondary may be the worst in the league, especially after Jeff Okudah was lost for the season. On top of that, they have struggled to contain the running game. We saw this on full display on Monday Night Football, when Aaron Jones put together a great day.

Jackson should be able to stretch the defense with his passing, which will naturally open up running lanes for himself. Look for another big game from the Ravens quarterback. If he finishes as the top overall scorer, as Awesemo projects, Jock MKT would pay $25 per share.

Dalvin Cook — RB — Minnesota Vikings

This week, Dalvin Cook gets a home matchup against the Seattle Seahawks. The last time we saw the Seahawks they were letting Derrick Henry run all over them, en route to their overtime loss at home. As a result, Seattle now surrenders the second-most rushing yards per game through two weeks (162.5).

Cook is coming off a 133-yard game on the ground. This matchup with the Seahawks also has a projected point total of 55, so there will be plenty of offense and scoring opportunities for both sides.

Obviously, Cook is listed as questionable for the game. Make sure to keep up on his injury updates. If he does give it a go, he will surely be discounted from his typical price, which is what we’re looking for.

Awesemo projects Cook to be fifth in scoring this week, which would pay out $15 per share. This creates a massive opportunity for value, as Jock MKT ranks Cook as 33rd in their player pool. This would pay out $5.17 per share.

Daniel Jones — QB — New York Giants

Everyone seems excited about Daniel Jones for NFL DFS this weekend. After a strong showing on Thursday Night Football, Jones has had a few extra days off to rest and prepare for a weak Atlanta Falcons defense.

Quietly, Jones has been the QB5 through two weeks, though much of this is thanks to his legs last week. The matchup against the Falcons couldn’t be better, as they have surrendered the most fantasy points to quarterbacks this season. Jones has the weapons around him to have a very good week, and we have seen he can take off and run at any point.

Awesemo projects Jones as the ninth-highest scorer this week, which would pay out $11.50 per share.
