Top Stacks: Week 13 NFL DFS Picks for DraftKings + FanDuel Based on Awesemo’s Premium Tool

NFL DFS Week 13 has finally arrived and it’s time to talk strategy. Stacking a quarterback with one of more of his pass catchers provides a solid way to add upside to a daily fantasy football lineup. With Week 13 offering a full slate of games, here are a few top stacks among the NFL DFS picks worth considering on the main slate. Part of the selection process for these picks comes from analyzing Awesemo’s top stacks tool for Week 13 for NFL DFS on both DraftKings and FanDuel.

NFL DFS Top Stacks for Week 13 on DraftKings + FanDuel

Top Stack: Green Bay Packers

A weekly contender for top stack, Green Bay enters Week 13 as a 7.5-point home favorite over the Eagles. The game currently has a 48.5-point total, giving Green Bay the fourth-highest implied team total on the slate.

In the midst of a career resurgence, Aaron Rodgers is completing 68.5% of his passes for an efficient 8.1 yards per attempt. Both numbers easily rank inside the top 10. Rodgers has also displayed his elevated ceiling numerous times this season, with five games of 300 or more yards passing under his belt. Now playing with a healthy stable of pass catchers, Rodgers remains a solid consideration in stacks.

As for stacking partners, Davante Adams stands out as the clear top candidate. Adams holds an absurd 33% target share and 38.2% air yards share in Green Bay’s offense. For those looking to take a contrarian approach, Allen Lazard returned to the offense and saw six targets in his most recent game. With Robert Tonyan also playing a consistent role and filling a dreadful position, Rodgers stacks can include multiple pass catchers.

Top Stack: Houston Texans

Another weekly contender for top overall stack, the Texans find themselves in a potential shootout against the Colts. The Texans are 3-point underdogs in a game totaled at 50.5 points overall.

Despite a subpar offensive environment, Deshaun Watson continues to make his case for most valuable player in the NFL. Watson paces the league in yards per pass attempt (8.8) while completing 68.9% of this passes. Watson does bring concerns this week, with Will Fuller suspended, Randall Cobb injured and Kenny Stills cut. However, Watson has played with questionable receiving talent numerous times in his career, keeping him in consideration for stacks.

Looking at Watson’s receiving options, Brandin Cooks stands out as the clear top play. Even prior to the depleted receiving corps, Cooks managed a team-leading 22.2% target share and a 25.4% air yards share. Behind Cooks, slot receiver Keke Coutee looks likely to play a larger role in the offense. Unlike Fuller, who is a consistent deep threat, Coutee averages an inept 6.7 yards per target. Beyond Coutee, fifth-round rookie Isaiah Coulter may play a larger role. The Texans may also opt to use more 12-personnel, featuring Jordan Akins and Darren Fells.

Value Stack: Los Angeles Rams

For those looking at cheap stacks, the Rams provide salary relief and access to a ceiling score on this slate. They face off against the Cardinals as 3-point favorites in a game totaled at 48.5 points.

While Jared Goff hasn’t produced an elite ceiling game this year, he still has been an efficient quarterback, with a 67.2 completion percentage and 7.5 yards per attempt. The Rams also rely heavily on game script. Last year, Goff tied Jameis Winston for the league lead in pass attempts. Even this year, the Rams have shown a willingness to pass when trailing in games, causing Goff to record games of 61 and 51 pass attempts earlier this season. If Arizona keeps this close or takes a lead, Goff could find himself in another voluminous passing game.

In the receiving corps, both Cooper Kupp and Robert Woods enter Week 13 with affordable prices on DraftKings and FanDuel. Kupp holds a 25% target share and a 24.3% air yards share, while Woods holds a 22.4% target share and a 23.2% air yards share. However, Woods has out-targeted Kupp 27-to-18 in the Rams’ two most recent games. Josh Reynolds also provides a cheap attachment to the passing attack with Gerald Everett and Tyler Higbee splitting time at tight end.
