Top Stacks: FREE Week 2 NFL DFS Picks for DraftKings + FanDuel Based on Awesemo’s Premium Tool

NFL Week 2 has finally arrived and it’s time to talk strategy. Stacking a quarterback with one of more of his pass catchers provides a solid way to add upside to a DFS lineup. With Week 2 offering a full slate of games, here are a few stacks worth considering on the DFS main slate. Let’s take a look at some top stacks from Week 2 for NFL DFS lineups on DraftKings + FanDuel.

NFL DFS Top Stacks for Week 2 on DraftKings + FanDuel

Dallas Cowboys

Playing in the highest totaled game on the main slate, the Dallas Cowboys and Atlanta Falcons project to combine for 53.5-points. Bookmakers currently give Dallas a 3.5-point edge, making them the preferred team to stack on DraftKings and FanDuel.

For the Cowboys, Dak Prescott enters the week with an affordable price tag on both platforms. Prescott completed 64.1-percent of his passes in Week 1 for 266 yards on 39 attempts. Atlanta’s rebuilt secondary lost Desmond Trufant this offseason and now leans heavily on rookie AJ Terrell and second-year burn victim Isaiah Oliver. Both allowed at least 80 yards in their coverage last week, while the team permitted the fourth-most yards per pass attempt on the Week 1 slate.

Looking to the stacking options, Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup, and CeeDee Lamb all enter the week with affordable prices. Cooper projects to draw the most ownership after seeing 14 targets in the season opener. However, Gallup ran the same number of routes as Cooper. Looking back to 2019, Gallup’s 21-percent target share actually bested Cooper’s 20-percent mark. With CeeDee Lamb growing in his rookie season and Dalton Schultz projected to take over for Blake Jarwin, this Cowboys team remains a top stack on DraftKings and FanDuel in Week 2.

Arizona Cardinals

Coming in slightly less owned than the Cowboys, the Arizona Cardinals also feature multiple stacking options ahead of a Week 2 matchup against the Washington Football Team. Currently, bookmakers project these teams to total 46.5-points, with Arizona favored by 6.5-points. Between Kyler Murray and his pass catchers, this game offers multiple stacking options.

Looking at Murray, the second-year signal caller showed his ceiling in Week 1 after rushing for 91 yards on the ground. Also efficient as a passer, Murray hung 230 passing yards on 40 attempts against the 49ers defense. In particular, Murray showed a strong connection with DeAndre Hopkins, who recorded 16 targets and 51.5-percent of Arizona’s air yards. This pairing provides one of the largest ceilings in all of Week 2 DFS.

Outside on Hopkins, Christian Kirk and Larry Fitzgerald offer contrarian stacking options with Murray. The Cardinals ran 78 plays in Week 1, which ranked second in the NFL. Historically, head coach Kliff Kingsbury calls pass-first, up-tempo offenses, meaning volume for this entire stable of pass catchers. With Washington also looking efficient on the other side, stacking the Arizona side of this game offers immense stacking upside in Week 2 NFL DFS.

Kansas City Chiefs

Coming in with shockingly low ownership, the Chiefs remain a top-four stacking value on the Week 2 DFS slate. Taking on the Los Angeles Chargers, this game total sits at 47.5-points. The Chiefs remain 8.5-point favorites, implying enough points to consider stacks on the Week 2 slate.

Patrick Mahomes warrants no explanation, as the NFL’s premier passer. In Week 1, Mahomes completed 75-percent of his passes for 6.6 yards per attempt against the Houston Texans. Mahomes also distributed his targets evenly with Sammy Watkins, Tyreek Hill, and Travis Kelce all finishing between six and nine targets. All remain potential stacking options here.

As for the matchup, the Chargers remain a tough opponent for opposing passers. Facing Joe Burrow in Week 1, the Chargers held the Bengals to 4.8 yards per pass attempt. However, Mahomes and his pass catchers remain contrarian stacking options after Mahomes routinely dropped 300-yards passing on even the top defenses throughout 2019. Coming in with surprisingly low ownership, the Chiefs remain a top DFS stack in Week 2 on DraftKings and FanDuel.
