Tonight the Los Angeles Chargers are hosting the Pittsburgh Steelers in the featured Sunday Night Football matchup, and Yahoo Fantasy is offering NFL DFS single-game contests. The general concept of creating a team remains the same, but this is a one-game player pool. The twist is that any position player can be rostered, and one is designated to receive a 1.5x multiplier on their Yahoo points. Using Awesemo’s expert NFL projections and rankings, these are the top Yahoo NFL picks for the Week 11 Sunday Night Football game tonight.
Yahoo NFL Picks: Week 11 Thursday Night Football
Top SUPERSTAR Options
The SUPERSTAR position will get a 1.5x multiplier on their Yahoo points in the single-game format. Awesemo’s NFL DFS optimizer creates daily fantasy football cheat sheets. Check out who is popping in the Yahoo NFL DFS cheat sheet for the Week 11 Thursday Night Football game.
Austin Ekeler, Los Angeles Chargers – $29
This is an improved matchup for Austin Ekeler, with the Steelers missing a key defender at each level of their defense — Minkah Fitzpatrick, T.J. Watt, Joe Haden and Isaiahh Loudermilk. Ekeler contributes in all phases of the offense as well as being a primary red-zone option for the Chargers. He has double-digit fantasy points in all but one game, and he is a strong option for the SUPERSTAR multiplier or in a utility slot.
Najee Harris, Pittsburgh Steelers – $30
Rookie Najee Harris now has at least 15 Yahoo points in eight straight games. Similar to Ekeler, he is a threat in all aspects of the Steelers offense, dominating the carries and also seeing five-plus targets in half of his games. Los Angeles has one of the worst rushing defenses in the league, which will play right into the strength of the Pittsburgh offense. Though the Chargers are likely to stack the box, Ben Roethlisberger ($21) should still be able to do enough to keep them honest.
Justin Herbert, Los Angeles Chargers – $33
Do not lose faith in Justin Herbert, who has 16 Yahoo points only once in his last four games. Three of those were against good defenses in Baltimore, New England and Minnesota. Pittsburgh is missing some important defensive pieces, and while this will be only the 25th start for Herbert, he should be able to move the offense up and down the field.
Yahoo NFL Core Picks
Keenan Allen, Los Angeles Chargers – $24
Keenan Allen has resumed his role as the primary pass catcher, seeing 35 targets in the three games since the Week 7 bye. Though he has scored only one touchdown this season, Allen still has produced 10 fantasy points in all but two games. Teammate Mike Williams ($22) would be the direct pivot away, though he is more reliant on finding the end zone, having five-plus targets in only two of his last six games.
Diontae Johnson, Pittsburgh Steelers – $18
This is a fair salary for Diontae Johnson, but the half-PPR scoring format on Yahoo is somewhat punitive, as Roethlisberger does not have an accurate deep ball any longer. There are several red-zone options for the Steelers, so Johnson’s backers are going to be hoping he can score from outside the 20 tonight.

Yahoo NFL Value Picks
Ray-Ray McCloud, Pittsburgh Steelers – $11
Although McCloud had a whopping 12 targets last week, he has just 22 on the season. The return of Chase Claypool ($16) is also likely to cap his upside. However, even if he can get three or four targets, he could do just enough to make him a viable contributor at $1 above the Yahoo minimum salary.
Jared Cook, Los Angeles Chargers – $13
Similar to McCloud, Jared Cook is a touchdown-or-bust option. The difference is that he should see at least a handful of targets, though the stark downside is that he has just four red-zone opportunities this season, with Donald Parham ($10), Williams and Ekeler getting looks.
Final Thoughts
There are not many cheap options tonight that bring any sort of certainty, but the mid-range is filled with choices who will not break the bank. Do not be afraid to leave a few dollars on the table in order to find some built in differentiation in the larger tournaments.
