The 2021 NHL season is nearly a month old and it’s been unpredictable and entertaining. Like many sports, the easiest way to maximize your ceiling is through stacking, and that couldn’t be any truer in NHL DFS. For reference, each goal averages 1.7 assists. In this article I’ll help you find the best stacks and NHL DFS picks for DraftKings and FanDuel fantasy hockey lineups using Awesemo’s Top Stack Tool.
Top Stacks: DraftKings + FanDuel NHL DFS Picks | Feb. 13
Top Stack: BOS1
It’s been a while since we’ve had a NHL DFS slate with any size containing the Bruins and today’s sets up nicely. In the second night of the back-to-back they are being wildly overlooked as the projected 9th highest owned line.
On slates this size ownership is often not a concern but when it’s this polarizing it needs to be noticed. Last night this trio really struggled putting anything together against the Rangers combining for less than 10 fantasy points. Inexplicably, David Pastrnak put up an egg after lighting the world on fire his first 5 games back with 8 points. Patrice Bergeron and Brad Marchand have been consistent as always with 16 points each thus far. All three of these guys deserve much more ownership than what’s being given considering the matchup with the Islanders defense that has been bailed out by incredible goaltending.
With plenty of ownership going to the likes of Toronto and Chicago getting over the field on the “perfection” line takes little effort with humongous upside.

Finding leverage in value can be very difficult because it often leads to plenty of ownership. In a phenomenal spot against the porous Blackhawks the Columbus top line gives us the best of all worlds.
At $16,600 overall the price for this scorching line you won’t find another line below them with their top 2 stack percentage besides Tampa’s very over-owned top line. Jack Roslovic has all of a sudden become “the play” for every NHL DFS slate with 8 points in his last five games and 100% involvement in all of his line’s goals. His price tag of $4700 has come up over the last few but still screams value in this spot. Along with Roslovic, Cam Atkinson has taken off since this group was brought together with four points in his last two games. And as we know, Patrik Laine can fill up a net anytime if he can stay out of the doghouse.
Chicago’s defense, or lack thereof, ranks in the bottom third of the league in every category imaginable. With full line correlation, price, and recent success they should be the first place to look wherever relief is needed.
