The following Spotlight Stacks were selected by Awesemo.com writer Jake Hari. For more analysis on the slate, check out the Projections page as well as Awesemo’s NHL Player Rankings and Stacks.

DAL1 (Benn-Seguin-Radulov)

The best line on the slate will get one of the best matchups on the slate as the Stars go into to Ottawa to face the Senators. The Sens have allowed the 5th-most Corsi Against per 60 and 6th-most Scoring Chances per 60 in the NHL so far, and with no shutdown line or pairing to throw at DAL1, this matchup is very much in Dallas’ favor. DAL1 should dominate possession at even-strength in this game and these three will all get top power-play time with John Klingberg as well.

MTL1 (Tatar-Danault-Gallagher)

The Canadiens’ top line made a big splash against the Penguins a couple nights ago, but they’ll likely go overlooked compared to the other top lines on the slate because of their lack of brand names. At even-strength this year, they have a 67.5 Corsi For Percentage and are on pace for nearly 30 Scoring Chances and 13 High-Danger Chances per 60 minutes, which are some of the best numbers we’ve seen on the young season. Based on what they’ve done so far at home, they likely won’t hard-match, but the Red Wings have allowed the 4th-most High-Danger Chances per 60 minutes this season, so they’re well worth the $15,700 on DraftKings as a trio.

NSH2 (Fiala-Turris-Smith)

The Preds 2nd line has all the fancy numbers we like to see dating back to Turris’ arrival in Nashville but they’ve failed to put together big performances for DFS. A home date with the Wild, who had enormous home/road splits in 2017-18 and was dominated at even-strength in their only road game (@Colorado) this year, makes for an excellent matchup. With the discount NSH2 comes at ($13,200) compared to the top line ($17,800) and the other lines they allow you to fit, NSH2 is a great value at likely lower ownership than NSH1.
