DraftKings and FanDuel NHL Stacks of the Day for 3/29

Team Awesemo breaks down the best NHL DFS picks for the DraftKings + FanDuel slate on 11/6/21. Tune in for all the best picks.

After you ship some early MLB cash, might as well double down on some NHL contests, where there is still some money to be made despite smaller GPPs tonight. As far as popular stacks, I think the top lines in BOS, WPG, EDM, and LA will carry the most ownership, but for the most part, this is another slate where you shouldn’t have to worry about playing a 40% stack. Below are a few of Awesemo’s top raw point/value stacks and we’ll start with a quote from him, as well as additional analysis from me (Tommination1).

BOS1: Marchand-Bergeron-Pastrnak ($20,800 DK/$23,600 FD)

“You’re going to need to break the bank for this top Bruins’ line, but their “A” points grade and power-play correlation makes them one of the best stacks of the night”

The Lightning look like they’ll get back Steven Stamkos tonight, who will slot in on the top line with Nikita Kucherov and J.T. Miller, and this Boston top line should be glued to them all night. While TB1 is great offensively, they have been very suspect defensively, allowing over 30 Scoring Chances Against per 60 minutes and 13 High-Danger Chances Against per 60 minutes in 76 minutes at even-strength. Yes, you’re going to have to pay up for BOS1, but they are one of the plays I am most excited about tonight, as they are at home and this is a good power-play matchup against Tampa Bay’s 26th-ranked penalty-kill.

MIN2: Parise-Koivu-Granlund ($14,800 DK/$18,000 FD)

“The Wild top line will have a tough task limiting the Stars’ stacked top line, but their team’s implied total is up over three, and these players will play a lot of minutes tonight.”

On DraftKings, these guys are too cheap for this matchup in a game they need to win. The Koivu line should see a lot of the Seguin line for Dallas which has allowed over 30 Scoring Chances Against per 60 minutes over their last 20 games. It is worth keeping an eye on the Wild’s pregame skate at 7:30 ET to make sure it is in tact, but this line should also have some opportunities on the power-play, as the Stars have been short-handed the 2nd-most times in the NHL this season, and this trio will all play on the man-advantage together. This is one of the top value stacks on the slate and it will likely go overlooked in most tournaments.

NSH2: Fiala-Turris-Smith ($14,000 DK/$15,100 FD)

“The Predators are priced down despite a nice matchup against the Sharks with a team total over 3. These guys are all on the power-play and have great possession stats year-to-date.”

The second line in Nashville (“B” DK value) should see the Logan Couture line for the Sharks, which allows over 28 Scoring Chances Against per 60 minutes and 10.9 High-Danger Chances Against per 60 minutes on the year. These three are split up on the power-play, but the good part about that is that you can play either P.K. Subban or Roman Josi to get some power-play correlation with a four-man stack. This is the cheapest we’ve seen this line in a while, and the matchup certainly isn’t one that should scare us at even-strength.
