Browns – Ravens Game Info

Cleveland Browns vs. Baltimore Ravens
Date: Sunday, Sept. 13, 2020
Time: 1 p.m. ET
Venue: M&T Bank Stadium — Baltimore, MD
Coverage: CBS

Baker Mayfield is on his third head coach in the same amount of seasons in the NFL. Still, this Browns offense is loaded with talent all over the field, and they brought in talent for the offensive line to give Mayfield some time to throw. However, the defense could be an issue.

Prized rookie Grant Delpit was lost for the season already. Despite it being Week 1, Greedy Williams is also expected to be out for the Cleveland secondary. While the Ravens aren’t known for their passing attack, it takes all hands on deck to stop them.

The Ravens were the most dominant team in the 2019 regular season, running over everyone. They used the draft to select yet another dangerous runner that Cleveland fans may be familiar with, in J.K. Dobbins from Ohio State. The offense is expected to be solid yet again, but it’s the defensive improvements that make Baltimore scary.

The weakness of the Ravens last season was their run defense. This is why the Browns beat them early last season, and it is why they saw an early playoff exit. To address this, Baltimore traded for Calais Campbell and drafted linebacker Patrick Queen. Now, teams are asking what the Ravens’ weakness is. If they are able to stop the Browns’ running game right away in the first quarter, it could be a long afternoon for Cleveland.
