Pistons vs. Raptors Game Info

Detroit Pistons (9-25, 3-15 Away) vs. Toronto Raptors (17-17, 8-7 Home)
Date: Wednesday, March 3, 2021
Time: 7 p.m. EST
Venue: Amalie Arena — Tampa, Fla.

There are plenty of key players that will not be suiting up tonight. First, Blake Griffin continues to be held out in hopes of finding a trade partner. The Pistons also have Delon Wright out with a groin injury, and Jerami Grant is listed as questionable with a quad injury. The Raptors also have a long list of inactive players. They will be without three starters due to COVID-19: Pascal Siakam, Fred VanVleet and O.G. Anunoby.

The injuries could even the playing field tonight. The Raptors have won three of their past five games, but VanVleet had been a big reason for this success. The Pistons have lost four of the last five games, and none of these games were against a strong opponents, except for maybe the Knicks.

Pistons vs. Raptors NBA Picks | Total

Much like the point spread, those making NBA betting picks for the total in tonight’s Pistons – Raptors game should be a bit selective. Those interested in betting the total over will find the best value at FanDuel or William Hill in the form of an over 211 (-110) ticket. On the contrary, those looking to bet the Pistons – Raptors total under should aim to do so at BetMGM, with a line of 211.5 (-110).

Pistons vs. Raptors Prediction

Some of the best talent between these teams will not be on the floor tonight. We don’t even have a true homecourt advantage, with Toronto playing in Tampa. There’s a lot of moving parts, along with bad basketball in this game. I’ll take the points with Detroit.

Prediction: Pistons +6
