Edlow’s Edge: Week 11 Monday Night Football NFL Picks + Prop Bets | Rams vs. Buccaneers

Sunday was a bloodbath for many of us, including myself. We’ll proceed with caution here with what projects as a very competitive Week 11 Monday Night Football matchup between the Rams and Buccaneers. I won’t be taking a side on the spread, but think this does point to a potential teaser spot, along with a prop bet I like. Using the help of OddsShopper to locate the best NFL betting picks and prices, let’s analyze some NFL best bets.

NFL Best Bets: Monday Night Football Betting Picks | Rams vs Bucs

6-Point Teaser: Rams +10.5 and UNDER 54.5 (-110)

These are two pretty evenly matched teams that can tend to be inconsistent on offense but thrive defensively. The Rams have been playing to the under all season, going just 2-7 to the over. Los Angeles allows the second-fewest points per game in the NFL at just 18.7, and the Buccaneers are eighth at 22.6. The defensive lines should get after it in this game, which should be a huge issue for both quarterbacks. Jared Goff and Tom Brady each see huge drop-offs when under pressure, and I expect a lot of it in this game. Playing under 48.5 is definitely a consideration for me, but I also don’t see this game getting out of hand on either side. Getting the Rams to keep this within 10 points while staying under an inflated total of 54.5 seems safe.

The Rams-Buccaneers spread and total are shifting around from 4-4.5 and 48-48.5 on most books. When you can lock one in getting the hook on your side for both numbers, I’d go for it.

Tom Brady Passing Yards: UNDER 293.5 (-139, BetMGM)

I was able to get this on at 300.5 on Sunday night, and a lot of books have wound up in the 285 range on Monday afternoon. BetMGM still gives us the best yardage number if you’re willing to lay a little bit of juice.

Brady had a huge game last week against Carolina, inflating this number for us. It was just his third 300-yard game in 10 games this season, and the matchup gets much tougher this week. The Rams are holding opponents under 200 yards per game through the air, while Brady averages just 240 passing yards at home this season. Mix in that pressure we expect from Aaron Donald and company, and Brady should have a really tough time pushing the ball downfield. I was shocked to see 300.5 on the board to begin with, so the lower number here makes sense. I still like this one down to 285.5.
