Jazz vs. Clippers Betting Odds, Picks & Predictions for NBA Playoffs Game 4 | Monday, June 14, 2021

For the third straight game of this Western Conference semifinals matchup, the Los Angeles Clippers failed to hold Utah Jazz star Donovan Mitchell below 30 points. What they did do is counteract that with a pair of big outings from their own superstars. Kawhi Leonard and Paul George powered the Clippers to a crucial Game 3 win on Saturday. Los Angeles has the chance to even up this best-of-seven series tonight before the action shifts back to Utah. This Jazz vs. Clippers NBA betting picks preview will explore the best NBA betting tips, provide some key betting odds, trends and offer the top NBA picks and predictions for the game.

Clippers vs. Jazz Game Info

Utah Jazz (58-22, 23-16 Away) vs. Los Angeles Clippers (52-30, 28-13 Home)
Date: Monday, June 14, 2021
Start Time: 10 p.m. EST
Venue: STAPLES Center — Los Angeles, Calif.
Coverage: TNT

The Jazz fell behind by 16 at halftime in Game 3 on Saturday and could never recover. Donovan Mitchell had another outstanding game with 30 points, five rebounds and four assists. Unfortunately, Joe Ingles was the only other Jazz player to exceed 15 points in the loss. Utah was once again without point guard Mike Conley. The fact that they managed to take each of the first two games in the series without his presence on the floor was a bit of a shock. If Game 3 was any indication, the Jazz will need him back to get over the hump and into the Western Conference Finals. Conley is questionable ahead of tonight’s NBA betting matchup.

Kawhi Leonard alluded to the Clippers having plenty of fight left in his comments following their Game 2 loss, and he and Paul George certainly walked the walk on Saturday. Leonard was spectacular with a game-high 34 points. He added 12 rebounds and five assists for good measure. Meanwhile, George put in 31 points of his own. Although his rebounding numbers were lower than they have been for much of the postseason thus far, the Clippers certainly welcomed the scoring. Nicolas Batum also had a big game with 17 points and seven rebounds. Reggie Jackson matched him in the scoring column. Game 3 was a much better defensive display from Los Angeles as well. It is no surprise to see them as favorites once again for tonight’s matchup.

Jazz vs. Clippers Prediction

Although bettors should fully expect Conley to return in the Western Conference Semifinals should this series be dragged out, it’s hard to say if it will be tonight. Conley missed 21 regular-season games with hamstring issues, suggesting that this current injury may be something that lingers throughout Utah’s postseason run. When push comes to shove, the Jazz really need their full complement of stars to take down the Clippers. Mitchell cannot be asked to score 35-plus every night out. With a pair of veteran superstars of their own in Leonard and George, the Clippers aren’t going anywhere.

The other thing to monitor ahead of Game 4 is the total. With each of the first three games in this series going over, the odds continue to adjust the over/under line up bit by bit. The half-point adjustment from Game 3 to tonight’s matchup isn’t enough based on the pace these teams have played with thus far.

Prediction: Over 223.5 (BetMGM)
