Trae Young Under 25.5 Points

Young’s struggles continued from beyond the arc on Monday as he was 1-for-6 from the 3-point line, marking the third straight game that he has knocked down just one 3-pointer. He is now just 10 of 37 (27%) from long distance for the season. He topped the 20-point mark for the first time in three games, as he finished with 26 points against the Wizards, thanks in large part to going a season-high 11-for-11 from the free-throw line.

Young has a tough matchup tonight against the Nets in Brooklyn. Young is averaging 20 points on 39% shooting from the field and 23% from the 3-point line in four road contests. He is projected for 21.17 points tonight, as the Nets have held lead guards to 36.7% shooting from the field and 30% from 3. Awesemo gives the under a 76% chance of hitting and an expected ROI of 53%.

Ivica Zubac Over 5.5 Rebounds

Zubac has struggled to rebound the ball, particularly on the defensive end. However, he averages two offensive boards a game and is hauling down one rebound every 3.67 minutes, which is a solid rate. On Monday he grabbed five rebounds in 13 minutes against Oklahoma City, marking the fourth game of the season that he has had at least that many rebounds. The biggest question is how much playing time he will get, as his minutes have significantly fluctuated in the early going (13 to 25 a game).

Expect Zubac to see at least 20 minutes of playing time tonight in a matchup against the Timberwolves and Karl-Anthony Towns. Minnesota is the fourth-worst rebounding team, hauling down rebounds at just a 47.5% clip. The Timberwolves have also had difficulty keeping opposing centers off the glass, as they are averaging 18.5 rebounds a game against Minnesota, including six offensive rebounds. Awesemo gives the over an 86% of hitting and an expected ROI of 50%.

Anthony Edwards Over 5.5 Rebounds and Under 4.5 Assists

Edwards will probably always be a volume shooter, but he has made strides in his game. Edwards has scored at least 24 points in four of six games, and he has at least six rebounds in all six. He has increased his rebound percentage from 7.9% a year ago to 11.2% this year, including a solid 6% on the offensive end. Edwards is projected for 7.5 rebounds tonight against the Clippers. The over has a 76% chance of hitting and an expected ROI of 40%.

Edwards has also improved as a passer this year, averaging three assists a game. However, he has doled out more than five assists in a game once this year. He is projected for 3.52 assists tonight. The under has a 76% of hitting and an expected ROI of 37%.

Cole Anthony Over 5.5 Rebounds

Like Edwards, Anthony has improved in Year 2. However, his has been much more dramatic. Anthony is averaging 19.4 points, 5.6 assists and 7.6 rebounds while shooting 44.8% from the field and 44.5% from beyond the arc. He is rebounding the ball on the defensive end at a 16.1% rate and has totaled five or more rebounds in seven of his eight appearances this year. Anthony is projected for 7.5 rebounds tonight, as the Celtics guards have struggled to keep opposing backcourts off the glass. The over has a 75% chance of hitting and an expected ROI of 33%.
