76ers vs. Hawks: De’Andre Hunter OVER 14.5 points (-125, PointsBet)
Hunter has established himself as a key piece of Atlanta’s rotation, and yet another injury for the Hawks gives us an edge on his scoring prop on Monday.
The Hawks are considered one of the league’s deeper teams, but early injuries haven’t been kind. Hunter scored exactly 11 points in three of the team’s first four games. But Rajon Rondo is out once again, and Danilo Gallinari is still sidelined. Hunter has scored at least 15 points in all six of the other games he has played this season, including at least 17 in each of his last five.
On top of the previous injury report, Bogdan Bogdanovic is now out as well, removing another 10 points and 24 minutes from the equation. Hunter was already running hot the last 10 days, averaging 20 points per game in over 33 minutes in his last five contests.
The 76ers are going to be extremely thin in this game due to the COVID outbreak. Ben Simmons, Seth Curry, Tobias Harris and Shake Milton are all out, which simply leaves worse wings on the floor for defense.
This one could be on the move, so I’d lock it in early DraftKings was offering us standard -110 juice, but it’s quickly been bet up to -134. As of 3:45 p.m. ET, PointsBet was the best price at -125.
