Heat vs. Trail Blazers Game Info
Miami Heat (27-25, 12-12 Away) vs. Portland Trail Blazers (31-21, 16-10Â Home)
Date: Sunday, April 11, 2021
Time: 10 p.m. EST
Venue: Moda Center — Portland, Ore.
Coverage: NBA TV
The Heat have been hot, winning five of their past six games. The addition of Victor Oladipo has been part of the reason for this, but it was announced that he will miss at least four games. Jimmy Butler has been very, very good during his four April games, averaging 23.3 points on 62.5% shooting and dishing 7.3 assists to only 1.5 turnovers. Awesemo is projecting Butler to lead the team in scoring again tonight. Bam Adebayo is projected just behind Butler in scoring, but expected to lead the team in rebounds. After a four-game home stand, this will be Miami’s first road game in April.
Portland on the second leg of a back-to-back, after easily defeating the Pistons last night. Jusuf Nurkic was out, which led to Enes Kanter starting. Kanter finished with as ridiculous 30 rebounds, with 12 coming on the offensive end. Despite the terrific performance, he is expected to return to the bench, given Nurkic’s return to the lineup. Damian Lillard snapped his cold shooting streak last night, scoring 27 points and making half of his 3-point attempts. Lillard is projected to score the most points in this entire game tonight, while connecting on at least three shots from beyond the arc.

- Portland is 6-3 straight up in its last nine games.
Heat vs. Trail Blazers Prediction
The trends don’t especially love either team tonight. Portland is 11-15 against the spread at home, while Miami is 12-12 on the road. Miami is 7-7 against the spread with a rest advantage, and Portland is 6-5 against the spread with no rest. It appears to be an even matchup, especially with Oladipo out. The game is also essentially a pick-’em. When this is the case, the best play is to side with the home team. I’m prediction the Blazers to sweep the Heat this season.
Prediction: Blazers +1
