The Raptors have recently fell back into a slump, losing four of their past five games. With only a couple weeks remain of the NBA regular season, Toronto may be resting more and more of their veterans. Tonight, Chris Boucher remains out, but it looks like Kyle Lowry will be returning to the lineup. In the backcourt, he joins Fred VanVleet, who is coming off a 30-point game. They lost to the Lakers in the first matchup of the season, so they will be fighting to prevent the sweep tonight.

The Lakers also enter this game struggling, losing five of their past six games. LeBron James returned to the lineup last game, scoring 16 points, long with eight rebounds and seven assists, in 32 minutes. Anthony Davis also put up a 22-point double-double. However, these efforts were not enough to win at home against the Kings. Turnovers and free throw shooting were the issue. The Lakers shot 50.6% from the field, but just 15-21 from the free throw line, to go along with 21 assists. The Lakers will need to step it up to get past the Raptors tonight.
