Week 11 Monday Night Football Prop Bets | Rams vs. Bucs
NFL Prop Bet No. 1: Antonio Brown UNDER 58.5 Receiving Yards

After a Sunday Night thriller full of Patrick Mahomes doing Patrick Mahomes things, it’s Tom Brady‘s opportunity for prime-time brilliance. His Buccaneers squad enters Monday Night Football as 4-point home favorites against the Rams with a run-of-the-mill 48.5 total, which feels low considering the unbelievable amount of weapons Brady has at his disposal. From a healthy Chris Godwin to a re-emerging Mike Evans to a resuscitated Rob Gronkowski to a finally-unchained Ronald Jones, the future Hall of Famer has a laundry list of weapons to choose from to combat the NFL’s third-ranked pass defense in the Rams, who give up only 221.1 passing yards per game.
That means there isn’t a ton of production to go around, which gives us a great opportunity to short new Bucs acquisition Antonio Brown this evening. Admittedly, the 32-year-old former All-Pro has hit the ground running since his Week 9 debut, already accumulating 10 catches for an average of 50 yards receiving in his two games as a Buccaneer. Also, Evans is the most likely candidate to receive the Jalen Ramsey treatment. That could mean extra looks for Brown and company.
However, I have confidence in this Rams unit to have answers for the Bucs’ aerial attack, as first-year defensive coordinator Brandon Staley has been revelatory in scheming against top receivers all season long. And if Brady should find success, I believe it will come primarily by way of Godwin. He commands the slot on two-thirds of snaps and faces the softest matchup of the bunch in cornerback Troy Hill. While Brown is malleable in the ways he can be used, there are simply too many options in this Bucs offense. I’ll be going half a unit on the under of this 58.5 number as a result.
NFL Prop Bet No. 2: Cam Akers OVER 18.5 Rushing Yards

Here we go again. If you don’t know what I mean, you haven’t had the pleasure of beating your head against a wall trying to make sense of Sean McVay quotes. Before an earlier prime-time game in Week 6, I was high on Cam Akers due to some pregame comments from the young Rams head coach saying he needed to get the rookie running back more involved. I was rewarded with a lovely zero yards on zero carries performance.
But actions speak louder than words, and actions indicate that this is a true three-back committee now. Among Akers, Darrell Henderson and Malcolm Brown, it was actually Akers who saw the most carries the past two weeks (19) and most yards on the ground in Week 10 (38). While the risk of a random benching is baked into this number, 18.5 is just too low for any running back in any offense coming off nine and 10 carries in their previous two games. So despite the Buccaneers defense allowing an absurdly-low 76.6 rushing yards per game (good for second in the NFL), I’m going to bank on Akers exceeding 2 yards per carry. Let’s also save the 11 dollars to play the over on 18.5 at William Hill.
