The PGA DFS Millionaire Maker is back and DraftKings has provided — for the first time ever — three options for The Masters at Augusta National. With the highest buy-in priced at $4,444 and the lowest at $10, there’s a wide range of lineups that can win the $1 million prize this week. For the purposes of this article, we’ll mostly focus on the $10 contest, which has us going up against over 400,000 other entries. With that large of a field, we’re going to need find some low-owned and solid pivot plays for fantasy golf picks on DraftKings and FanDuel.

Fantasy Golf Picks for The Masters
PGA DFS Picks: $9,000 and Above
- 13 Golfers
- Total ownership of around 190%
It is no surprise to see a ton of attention going to the players here this week, as these are the best in the world. In fact, of the 13 golfers, only one is projected at less than 10% ownership, and that’s Collin Morikawa. Jordan Spieth, Bryson DeChambeau and Justin Thomas are all projected to be north of 20% owned this week. Patrick Cantlay and Jon Rahm have a little bit of a dip, coming in between 15 and 20%. Surprisingly, Xander Schauffele, Dustin Johnson and Rory McIlroy are all trending towards only being owned between 10 and 15%. Also in that bucket of ownership is the bottom of the $9,000 range, including Patrick Reed, Brooks Koepka, Tony Finau and Webb Simpson.
Top Against the Grain Fantasy Golf Picks
The one true against-the-grain play is Morikawa (projected for 71.9 points). Somewhere in the 30% range in the $10 Millionaire Maker would be ideal for him, looking for 4 or 5x leverage on the field.

PGA DFS Picks: Nos. 11-32 Priced Golfers ($8,900-$7,500)
- 16 Golfers
- Total ownership 190 %
This is the first-ever time that the top two sections are projected with the same total ownership, but it’s more of a coincidence than anything. Sixteen players make up this range, with Paul Casey leading the way as the highest-owned golfer at 19.5%. It’s deserved considering he has done well at Augusta National in the past and has been in some great form this year. Also expected to be highly owned are Viktor Hovland and Daniel Berger. Cameron Smith is also trending towards the 20%-owned range. Then there is a dip, as golfers like Matthew Fitzpatrick, Hideki Matsuyama, Sergio Garcia, Jason Day and Louis Oosthuizen are trending between 10 and 15% this week.
That leaves five golfers projected to be under 10% owned this week. They are:
- Tyrrell Hatton
- Lee Westwood
- Tommy Fleetwood
- Bubba Watson
- Adam Scott
Top Against the Grain Fantasy Golf Picks
Of those on the list above, Westwood (Projected 64.6 Points), Scott (Projected 63 Points), Watson then Fleetwood in that order are preferred plays. Hatton can be left off.
PGA DFS Picks: The Rest ($7,400 and Below)
- 61 golfers
- Total ownership 220%
While it says there are 61 golfers in this range, at least 15 of them can be thrown out right off the bat. Still, there will be plenty of ownership and big names, including Joaquin Niemann, Abraham Ancer, Will Zalatoris and Corey Conners — all pushing 15 to 20%. Jason Kokrak and Brian Harman are also garnering plenty of attention, but maybe not as much. Both of those guys are projected just over 10% this week. There are 10 other players that may get over 5%, and some of them even close to 10% owned this week, including:

- Sebastian Munoz
- Christiaan Bezuidenhout
- Ryan Palmer
- Carlos Ortiz
- Matt Wallace
- Lanto Griffin
- Matt Jones

If looking to pick up on a few golfers that are likely to be owned under 5% this week, here are a couple worth playing:
