Low Owned PGA DFS Picks Today for the AT&T Byron Nelson DraftKings Showdown
All three of the top-3 odds favorites to start the week are all in the top-10 heading into Sunday. That’s where a ton of ownership will go among the studs, soaking up 120% or more possibly. So, picking a favorite between Scottie Scheffler ($10,900), Justin Thomas ($10,700) and Jordan Spieth ($10,100), then pair them up with some of the lower-owned studs like Aaron Wise ($9,100) or even Adam Scott ($9,200). Sebastian Munoz ($8,800) has also maintained top form all week and still hasn’t cracked the $9,000 in salary mark, so his ownership will likely be the highest of the slate.
Patrick Rodgers ($7,300)
A difficult start to round three for Rodgers, bogeying his first two holes and paring his next three. But then he turned it on, birdieing six of his next eight holes before finishing his round off with four pars. He’s been hot with both the putter and his driver through the first three rounds, while his irons have lagged just a bit. But, if those pick up slightly for the fourth round, and given his position on the leaderboard, Rodgers sets up as a low-owned golfer that has top-10 upside.
Joohyung Kim ($7,100)
The young phenom from South Korea has had a great year playing on the Asian Tour and has risen all the way up to 71st in the world. His recent run of form includes three top-5s in his last three events. While he has no status on the PGA Tour, he’s just an earshot away from the top-10, which would get him into the Charles Schwab Challenge in two weeks. He’s already in the field for next week’s PGA Championship, as he looks to continue his hot form in 2022.
Stephan Jaeger ($7,000)
Finally, a break-in form for Jaeger, as he’s made it three straight starts where he’s got a chance on Sunday for a good finish. His worst attribute undoubtedly is off the tee, and he’s lost .75 strokes through three rounds, so no change there, but at this course, there’s a lot more room to get away with bad driving. His irons and putter have been working, which is the combination needed here, so if he can hit a few more fairways in round four, he should finish in the top-15 for the third streak week. It would help solidify his standings on tour, currently ranked 121st on the FedEx Cup Standings.
Other Low Owned Targets for PGA DFS Final Round of the AT&T Byron Nelson
- Aaron Wise ($9,100)
- Taylor Moore ($6,800)
- Trey Mullinax ($6,500)
