PGA DFS Picks: Bermuda Championship

This column will include 6 to 12 players as part of the core, which earns the highest allocation on DFS and is matched with bets across the board. None of the favorites have made the trip over this week.

Weather

Those that tee off later in the day will face less wind but may also face some moisture. The weather will undoubtedly add an additional variable to an already extremely variable event.

Top PGA DFS Picks for DraftKings and FanDuel

These golfers will have anywhere between 20% and 50% allocation.

Christiaan Bezuidenhout ($10,700 DraftKings/$11,700 FanDuel)

It was just about a year ago now when Bezuidenhout had his breakthrough wins in back-to-back starts on the European Tour. While he has not had a win since, he has done almost everything else, including zero missed cuts and nine top-25s. His strengths are his short game, something he will need to rely on this week given the expected conditions. He will have one of the highest allocations of the fall swing. One of the reasons for that is, he has been much more reliable than Matthew Fitzpatrick and Patrick Reed over the last few months. Fitzpatrick and Reed project well in the expected conditions.

Sahith Theegala ($8,800 DraftKings/$10,500 FanDuel)

After missing the cut on the number at the Shriners, Theegala has had a few weeks off to regroup and focus on another big start in Bermuda this week. These starts are pivotal early in the season, as he still does not rank all that highly on the Korn Ferry Tour list. However, a good start to the season and another top-10 in Bermuda should change that and make him a more permanent fixture on the PGA Tour.

Nick Hardy ($7,800 DraftKings/$9,400 FanDuel)

While there have only been a few tournaments in the season, it is clear Hardy will earn his keep with his irons, as he has hit almost 80% of his greens in his two starts. Both yielded decent finishes inside the top 36. Now, if he can catch a hot putter and keep up the iron play, he should be in line for the best finish in his young career. In eight rounds this year, he has gained over six strokes on the approach, ranking him inside the top 20 through five tournaments.

Mark Hubbard ($7,900 DraftKings/$9,200 FanDuel)

Playing in a very tough bracket, the 125-150 exemption, Hubbard will need to make the most of every start he gets. His falling just short of the playoffs can be nullified with a top-10 or better this week. He has made the cut in each of his two starts this fall and should continue that form here.

Austin Eckroat ($7,500 DraftKings/$8.900 FanDuel)

Eckroat has made the cut seven times in 10 starts and came in the top 16 four times. Those are some solid results for a guy still trying to find his way. The talent level is there, the pedigree is there, and now he just needs some opportunities.

Beau Hossler ($7,000 DraftKings/$8,700 FanDuel)

Hossler is one of 20 golfers that have competed in Bermuda all three years of the event. He had to have a big finish to the season last year just to keep his job, and he came in 16th at the Fortinet Championship. His putter is what drove the success, gaining almost 9 1/2 strokes on the week, showing how hot he can get with the flat stick. With two top-26s here in the two events played, plus his good form and price, it is a great recipe for one of the biggest ownership allocations of the slate.

PGA Picks Under or at $7,000

While no golfer under $7,000 will be in the core this week, they will be a part of aggressive builds, with two or more golfers priced under $7,000 in the lineup.
