Giannis Antetokounmpo

It’s rare that I have such a strong feeling for a stud, but Draymond Green being out for the Warriors is a big problem defensively. For the season, the Warriors are giving up 105.6 points per 100 possessions. When Draymond Green is not on the floor, that number jumps to 111.3. He has a profound affect on the team’s defense. This game figures to be quick, and high scoring, which are two positive checkmarks for me. The biggest plus for Giannis, though, is the fact that his price is only $11,000 on DraftKings. On a night with a relatively pedestrian top tier, Giannis is someone I’ll have in half of my lineups.

Klay Thompson

On our strategy show on Tuesday, I mentioned the Bucks give up a huge amount of shots in the mid-range (which is smart), and that someone like CJ McCollum could have a big game because of it. CJ’s shot profile fits exactly what the Bucks allow. He’s a shooter that, if given open looks, could get hot. Now I don’t want to say that’s the sole reason for McCollum’s big night, but it does make me interested. Luckily, we have another test case. Klay Thompson lives in the mid-range. Specifically, he shoots 48% of his shots in the mid-range. If he gets those looks tonight, and can build a little rhythm, it’s not out of the question that Klay explodes again. Outside of Dennis Schroder, Klay is the SG I want the most.
