It’s not often we get a slate featuring four teams ranking 11th or worse, and with this being the LPL there should be fireworks. Three of the teams have fringe playoff aspiration, and need to win their series, and I’ll be breaking them all down while offering up some LoL DFS picks.

Bilibili Gaming (BLG) vs. Rogue Warriors (RW)
Edward Gaming (EDG) vs. LNG Esports (LNG)
LPL Starting Lineups
Looking at the series losses for BLG paints a clear picture. They don’t lose to bad teams. Sure, you may say VG isn’t a great team, but they’re still hovering around playoff position. RW is an improving team, but this has typically been the range where BLG picks up wins this split. This jungle matchup is enticing, and a BLG victory likely would see Meteor and his 81.3% kill participation (KP) as the piece you want in most of your BLG stacks. BLG is the more expensive team on DraftKings but cheaper on FanDuel, and I like them a lot there.
If the season started fresh tonight, would RW be a playoff team? Technically they’re still in the playoff run currently, but if a new season started today, they would be one of the teams I could see snagging the eighth playoff spot. Their current four series win streak is impressive, and on paper it might seem that they’re equipped to make it five against BLG. But I believe this series could easily go three games with each game being very exciting. ZWuJi easily has the biggest advantage in lane, and if he and Ley take care of the BLG bot lane, RW should be in a good spot to take this series.
One of the more surprising records in the LPL belongs to EDG. Sitting on the outside of the playoffs currently, they’ll likely need to win out to have a shot. Fortunately, LNG is about as easy of a series as one could ask, and they should dispose of them even if LNG is able to make it a three-game series. EDG doesn’t sit too far behind RW in kills per game on the slate, and with the more winnable matchup, EDG should pose as the most attractive LoL DFS option tonight. Scout has a difficult draw against Maple, but EDG is a big favorite, and I like him to put up a comfortable score.
The year is essentially over for LNG, as they’re no longer eligible to make the playoffs. While they aren’t V5 from spring levels of bad, a series loss here would bring their losing streak to 10. With them being unable to make playoffs, I’m curious to see if they change anything about their play style or if we’ll continue seeing largely ineffective attempts at whatever it is they’re attempting to accomplish. I’ll have small amounts, probably more than most, and if Flandre has freedom (and if he starts), he could manage decent numbers should LNG somehow win.
ADC – Hope. Hope is likely to find little resistance this series, and with the playoffs still in reach, EDG cannot afford to take it easy on LNG.
Favorite Contrarian Play
MID – FoFo. He might be one of the more popular members of BLG, but RW is the more fun, explosive LoL DFS play. FoFo faces off against Wuming, who tends to not dominate laning phase, and should FoFo get far enough ahead, maybe with some help from Meteor, BLG could take the series.
