LoL DFS Picks: League of Legends EU Masters DraftKings Slate Breakdown | Saturday, 5/1

DraftKings LoL DFS Picks League of Legends Mid-Season Invitational Day 5 Monday May 10

It is the semifinals of the League of Legends EU Masters, and each team remaining is capable of taking down the crown. There are two potentially intriguing series on this slate, making everything a little bit more open than on certain slates with two best of three series. Today I will break down the two series as well as some of my favorite LoL DFS picks on DraftKings from each team.

LoL DFS Picks: DraftKings EU Masters Slate Breakdown

After a less-than-impressive group stage showing, BTXL finally showed off a bit of their talent, taking down MSFP. Speaking of talent, there is not a big gap between these teams, making BTXL an incredibly appealing LoL DFS option as the cheaper of the two teams. Deadly and Orome finally showed up big in their victory over MSFP, and while Orome has a more preferable lane assignment, both are the preferred options from BTXL this slate.

Strictly looking at the talent of these two teams, it really feels like it will be a tightly contested affair. However, between the two teams, MOUZ had the better quarterfinals showing, sweeping BIG. The hope is that the masses swarm over to the cheaper BTXL, opening up the possibility of getting over the field on a team that just put up 53 kills on BIG, and also has 20-plus kills in their last four games. Lider really showed up against BIG, and he should perform well against Hatrixx, putting him at the top of the list from MOUZ.

Closing out the semifinals slate is a fun one as undefeated UCAM takes on the 8-1 powerhouse KC. Fortunately for UCAM, they were recipients of a beneficial quarter final draw, quickly disposing of MKS in just under 52 minutes. The odds are a little heavier on KC than expected, making them potentially worth some spots. Every good foundation has a solid jungler, and if Hadess gets going, UCAM has some potential to scare KC.

It is not surprising that KC is in the semifinals of the EU Masters. However, it was surprising to see them drop game one against SSU before disposing of them in just under 51 minutes in Games 2 and 3. The preference in this series still heavily lies in the team that should win this in KC, and with them having at least 15 kills in all of their wins, they’re obviously excellent LoL DFS plays. Saken is more than capable of popping off.

Favorite DraftKings Pick

MID – Saken. Continuing the point, Saken has a 13.1 KDA, a +1349 gold differential at 15 minutes and five games with at least seven kills in this EU Masters.

Favorite Contrarian DraftKings Pick

ADC – Gadget. Hopefully there aren’t too many people flocking to a 5-4 team that’s more expensive than their counterpart. Gadget is good when on carries, and getting him in a good spot will allow MOUZ a stronger shot to get the win.
