League of Legends DFS: LoL DraftKings Picks & LPL + LCK Slate Breakdown | Thursday 1/20
While the LCK series seem one sided on paper, the LPL brings LoL DFS players two potentially action-packed series. We will be going over some of the best LoL DFS picks today for DraftKings and FanDuel lineups

LoL DFS Picks: DraftKings LPL +LCK Slate Breakdown
LPL Series
Rare Atom (RA) vs. Victory Five (V5)
Oh My God (OMG) vs. Bilibili Gaming (BLG)
LCK Series
DRX (DRX) vs. T1 (T1)
Fredit Brion (BRO) vs. GEN.G (GEN)
RARE ATOM
Tonight opens with a potentially volatile LoL DFS affair as RA takes on V5. RA beat TES, while also taking a game off of LNG, and if they come out with that level of intensity, beating V5 is well within the cards. As the more expensive team this will be a litmus test for how much LoL DFS players buy into these early results, with Leyan being in an intriguing spot tonight.
VICTORY FIVE
Beating WE 2-1 is not necessarily an exciting result, but getting an opening series win against a team with experience is never a bad thing. V5 will continue to be a peculiar team throughout the split, and likely one to most often pay attention to ownership numbers on, making Rookie someone for LoL DFS players to have on their board nightly.
DRX
Purported scrim gods DRX have not won an on-stage game yet this split, and it is unlikely they find success here against T1. Frustratingly enough there’s talent on this roster, and getting them at bargain bin ownership numbers is quite appealing, but only bold players should tread those waters.

T1
T1 is in an interesting spot where most LoL DFS players will expect a 2-0 like the KDF series, even though the 2-1 BRO series win, which should have been a loss, is the more recent result. Overall talent discrepancy is not as big as one might expect, nonetheless the spot remains too good to ignore tonight, with Oner offering a sufficient option from T1.
OH MY GOD
Likely the most surprising team to start the split is OMG, as they sit top of the table, undefeated in series and games. This will be their first stern test, and they are correctly entering as slight underdogs. How LoL DFS react to a cheap, undefeated team could be pivotal tonight, as an over owned OMG could allow other teams to be in an interesting pivot spot, but playing an in form, cheap OMG remains a fine option.
BILIBILI GAMING
Whether or not Uzi finds his way into too many spring split series remains to be seen, but BLG kicked off their split just right with Doggo, getting a 2-1 win over WBG. Even though they are the less tested team here, BLG is also the more veteran team overall, without lacking talent as well. FoFo against Creme is an exciting lane, and if FoFo comes out on top, his LoL DFS relevance could be high.
FREDIT BRION
BRO is a perfect example of how LoL DFS players want their teams to play. Big objective emphasis allows for fights around said objectives, which can lead to huge assist numbers even on middling kills, while having upside on high kill games. That said, while they are a very smart team, fighting GEN is another beast, but with that comes minimal ownership.
GEN
Scoring a 2-1 win over DK likely sets the tone for the rest of the GEN split as it only gets easier after that. Sitting in a pretty position to score a 2-0 over a smart BRO team, their LoL DFS implications likely rest in not only how aggressive they are, but also how willing BRO is to find a crack if they are down early. Doran is in an ideal position tonight lane matchup wise, and should be a strong consideration from GEN.
Favorite Pick Tonight
JNG – Oner. DRX has a fine roster, just not the results, nonetheless it is difficult to envision T1 losing in this spot often, making Oner a particularly fine LoL DFS pick for tonight.
Favorite Contrarian Pick Tonight
ADC – Hena. BRO is a team that is not likely to win this series too often, and with that comes the opportunity to buy low on a team that appears capable enough to at least frustrate most LCK teams.
