Week 14 streaming defense D/ST rankings best options picks Tennessee Titans Seattle Seahawks Baltimore Ravens

The final set of teams on a bye will occur in Week 14, meaning after this week there should be more viable streaming options for the defense/special teams (D/ST) position. With that being said, even with the limited schedule this week, there are still three great options to highlight that are available in the majority of leagues. Also, check out the Awesemo projections to see what is projected for all of the teams that will be in action.

Week 14 Fantasy Football Streaming D/ST Rankings

Tennessee Titans (76% available)

The Titans were on a bye in Week 13, which contributed to them being dropped in a lot of leagues. It also did not help that they were torched by the Patriots in Week 12, allowing 36 points in the lopsided defeat. The Titans defense has shown limitations at times, allowing at least 30 points in a game five times. On the bright side, their 29 sacks rank inside the top half of the league.

Despite their issues, a matchup against the Jaguars makes them a top streaming option. The first time these two teams met, the Jaguars only scored 19 points. The Jaguars have had one of the most inept offenses in the league, with their average of 15 points per game ranking second lowest. While injuries might continue to hamper the Titans offense, their defense could help lead them to a victory this week.

Los Angeles Chargers (93% available)

The Chargers would be one of the last D/STs one would normally expect to see on this list. Their defense has been awful, allowing 26.3 points per game. They are 7-5 in spite of their defense. The only teams that have allowed more points per game than them are the Jets, Falcons, Texans, Jaguars and Lions. Those teams are a combined 13-46-1.

As bad as the Chargers have been, they are looking at a prime matchup against the Giants. Their offense has been bad for much of the season, some of which can be attributed to injuries. They have a potential nightmare situation unfolding at quarterback for Week 14, with Daniel Jones (neck) and Mike Glennon (concussion) potentially out. Glennon was awful in place of Jones last week, leading the Giants to just 9 points against the Dolphins. If they both cannot play, Jake Fromm, who was just signed off the Bills practice squad last week, would likely get the start.

Seattle Seahawks (94% available)

The Seahawks needed a win in the worst way last week, and they got it against the 49ers. Their offense finally woke up, scoring 30 points after recording a combined 28 points over their three previous games. Their defense did just enough to help it hold up, limiting the 49ers to 23 points. They picked off Jimmy Garoppolo two times, although George Kittle demolished them for 181 yards and two touchdowns.

The common theme this week is less-than-stellar defenses becoming viable fantasy options because of favorable matchups. The same can be said for the Seahawks, who will take on the Texans. The Texans were shut out by the Colts in Week 13 and have now scored fewer than 10 points in a game six times. Regardless of if Tyrod Taylor or Davis Mills starts at quarterback, they should struggle to be productive.
