Week 3 Fantasy Football Buy-Low Trade Candidates: A.J. Brown & Jonathan Taylor

Checking fantasy football projections can provide a sense of how a player should perform in a given matchup. Let’s look into some of the best fantasy football trade values for Week 3 that could be league-winners with the right buy-low offer.

Week 3 Fantasy Football Buy-Low Trade Values & Targets

A.J. Brown – WR – Tennessee Titans

The Titans are coming off of a bounce-back win against the Seahawks following a terrible loss to the Cardinals in Week 1. Despite the Titans having an excellent game against Seattle, Brown only had three receptions on nine targets for 43 yards receiving. The team succeeded off the backs of Julio Jones and Derrick Henry. Brown was a top-12 receiver pick and is currently WR45 in half-PPR leagues. With that said, he is still leading the team in targets with 17, and his next three games are against the Colts, Jets and Jaguars, all of which have weak secondaries.

Jonathan Taylor – RB – Indianapolis Colts

Taylor has come out the gate slow, as he is the RB27 in half-PPR. In Week 2 he ran for 51 yards on 15 carries, and with Carson Wentz’s health concerns, many fantasy managers may start to panic. Taylor is the clear lead back in Indianapolis, and he will receive tons of volume with or without Wentz.

Allen Robinson – WR – Chicago Bears

Robinson is WR57 in half-PPR, and much of this struggle can be attributed to a lack of connection with either Andy Dalton or Justin Fields. Now with Fields under center, confidence should be much higher in Robinson’s outlook on the season. Robinson has performed with the likes of Blake Bortles, Nick Foles and Mitchell Trubisky, so it is likely he will bounce back and have a strong rest of the season.

Ty’Son Williams – RB – Baltimore Ravens

Unlike the rest of this group, Williams is not necessarily a buy-low target, as he has been playing quite well. But he also should not be a buy-high guy, as his value can continue to go up throughout the season. He is the RB13 in half-PPR, tied with Melvin Gordon. Williams is the clear No. 1 back in an offense that looks to run the ball aggressively. While Latavius Murray is a solid RB2 behind him, Williams should still be the lead back. Last week Williams saw 13 rushes for 77 yards and caught both of his targets for 16 yards. He should have a high output for the rest of the season, with a top-eight finish potentially in the cards.

George Kittle – TE – San Francisco 49ers

Kittle was a unanimous top-three tight end in all fantasy football drafts. Right now he is sitting outside of the top 13 in half-PPR. Last week against the Eagles he caught four passes but only had 17 yards receiving and a fumble. Much of that can be attributed to a low-scoring game (17-11). Kittle should be seeing more work and becoming a more reliable tight end as the season goes on.
