The next part of the game occurs during live trading. Unlike regular MLB DFS where your plays are locked in, you can buy and sell shares of players while the games are happening based on their production and where you could see them finishing amongst the field. Corey Dickerson, OF, Miami Marlins

Dickerson has been in a bit of a hitting slump recently. However, perhaps a day off yesterday and a favorable matchup make for the perfect combination for him to right the ship. Despite only recording three hits in his last seven games played, Dickerson is still batting .270 on the season. He figures to be licking his chops knowing Nick Pivetta is starting tonight for the opposing Red Sox. In eight career plate appearances against him, Dickerson is batting .571 with four total hits, one home run and a walk. On top of reaching base safely in five out of eight matchups, Dickerson has a whopping 1.143 slugging percentage against Pivetta. Dickerson is listed as the 15th-highest batter in Monday’s Awesemo MLB DFS projections, which would pay out $6.50 per share.

Andrew Benintendi, OF, Kansas City Royals

Benintendi comes into tonight’s game swinging the bat well. Over the course of the team’s four-game series over the weekend, Benintendi stroked five hits, drove in seven runs and scored twice himself. His batting average is now .294 on the season. In addition, he has a history of past success against Angels starter Dylan Bundy. Benintendi has hit .344 against Bundy for his career, with 11 hits in 32 prior plate appearances. He has also tagged Bundy for one home run prior to tonight. The Awesemo MLB DFS projections grade Benintendi as one of the best value plays for tonight. A finish of 20th as he currently stands in the projections would pay out $5.00 per share.

Jared Walsh, 1B, Los Angeles Angels

Walsh has been a hitting machine of late. He carries a four-game hitting streak into Monday’s matchup and has a hit in seven of the last eight overall. On the season he is batting .301 with 62 total hits and 13 homers. On top of his solid run, Walsh and the Angels will be the first MLB team to face Royals starter Jackson Kowar. Kowar has been called up from the minors and will make his big-league debut on the road tonight. Should the nerves get to him, the Angels will be in a position to capitalize. Walsh is currently the third-highest ranked batter in the Awesemo MLB DFS projections. Such a finish would pay out $18.00 per share on Jock MKT.
