UFC Vegas 20: Rozenstruik vs. Gane Daily Fantasy MMA Analysis
It’s important to analyze the weigh-ins, especially when you hear the fights are in Vegas. The UFC has some tough luck at the APEX with fights falling out, and fighters missing weight. This morning’s weigh-ins were no different, as we saw the fight between Alex Oliveira and Ramazan Kuramagomedov canceled due to illness, most likely via weight-cutting issues. Oddly enough, an MMA veteran with 40 fights, Maxim Grishin, missed weight by 4.5 pounds and looked extremely disappointed in himself. His opponent, Dustin Jacoby, did not have issues making weight and looks strong. Two fighters needed to use the towel in order to hit their target weight, Alexander Hernandez and Ashley Yoder, but they did look good on the scale. Vince Cachero looked extremely fit with a full camp behind him. Pedro Munhoz and Jimmie Rivera looked strong for the rematch, but I was really impressed with Munhoz here. Magomed Ankalaev stepped onto the scale gingerly but looked strong. His opponent Nikita Krylov looked better than ever and has clearly put on muscle mass. In our main event of the evening, Ciryl Gane looked like a superhero and is a mammoth of a human being. Overall, I was impressed with most of the fighters on this card.
