While we have nine games on the NBA fantasy schedule today, the first isn’t included in the main slate. With a decent-sized slate, there is quite a bit of injury news. Below are some NBA daily fantasy options that stand out for tonight’s slate using Awesemo Boom/Bust Tool and NBA DFS projections.
NBA Fantasy Projections & Optimal Lineup Picks Tonight
Top Boom Candidates
Kyle Anderson: $4,600 DraftKings/$5,300 FanDuel | 42.8% DraftKings Boom/29.8% FanDuel Boom
The Awesemo Boom/Bust Tool gives Kyle Anderson the highest “boom” percentage on both DraftKings and FanDuel tonight. Memphis has De’Anthony Melton out and Dillon Brooks doubtful tonight, which opens up more minutes for Anderson. In fact, Awesemo projects Anderson to play 28.8 minutes tonight, after averaging only 22.1 minutes this season. The uptick in playing time should lead to more production, and he is a great value because he is priced as a player that is expected to only play 22 minutes. Roughly 30% more playing time should lead to a sizable increase in NBA fantasy production as well.

Patrick Beverley: $4,700 DraftKings/$4,800 FanDuel | 28.8% DraftKings Boom/20.5% FanDuel Boom
The Awesemo Boom/Bust Tool gives Patrick Beverley the second-highest “boom” percentage on FanDuel, behind only Anderson. Beverley has been fantastic for fantasy this season, as his 4.7 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 1.7 defensive stats per game give him a high floor even on off-shooting nights. When Beverley is able to find the bottom of the net, that’s where his “boom” games come. Today, he faces a Grizzlies team that ranks second-worst in defensive efficiency this season (109.4), which gives us reason to believe his stats could jump tonight.
Rudy Gobert: $7,900 DraftKings/$8,300 FanDuel | 31.5% DraftKings Boom/25.2% FanDuel Boom
The Awesemo Boom/Bust Tool gives Rudy Gobert a floor of 34 NBA fantasy points, but a ceiling of about 47. However, Gobert has already proven he can top this ceiling against the Kings, as he put up exactly 48.5 DraftKings points in both matchups against them this season. He grabbed 20 rebounds in both games, and Gobert added a stronger defensive effort in one of the games and an offensive performance in the other. Both Utah and Sacramento rank in the top 10 in pace this season, so look for plenty of points to be scored and for Gobert to have a great fantasy day yet again.

Top Bust Candidates
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: $8,400 DraftKings/$8,400 FanDuel | 55.5% DraftKings Bust/63.5% FanDuel Bust
It’s clear that Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is in a shooting slump. He has shot 37.5% or worse in six of his past seven games, and it’s the biggest thing holding back his NBA fantasy value. While he could snap out of it any day, the probability of his having another bad shooting day is higher than the flip side, and Boston has also been playing better defense recently. It has allowed only 100.25 points over its past four games. Awesemo’s projections give Gilgeous-Alexander a -5.69 value on DraftKings and -7.20 on FanDuel today.
