DraftKings & FanDuel NBA Fantasy Basketball Rankings

*Grades are ordered DraftKings, FanDuel. The initial grade indicates a player’s strength of output, with the value grade indicating their strength as a play in relation to their salary.

SF Amir Coffey — Grades: C, C | Values: A, A

The Clippers will be a really good source of value tonight as their prices have shot down significantly due to their matchup against the Cavaliers. They are implied to score only 102.75 points, which is the lowest on the slate. However, they have three players leading the way in our ownership projections on DraftKings. The top option is Amir Coffey, who is coming in at over 50% ownership, which is quite high. Coffey has played back-to-back games with 36 minutes but has not been all that productive in that time. He has actually played 30 or more minutes in four of his last five games, but only has one game where he topped 20 DraftKings points.

The Cavaliers rank fourth in defensive rating this season, allowing 103.7 points per game. They also play at the sixth-slowest pace in the league. The Clippers rank just 26th in offensive rating, but their prices seem too inviting. Do not go over board with this Clippers team, but Coffey is the top option according to our Awesemo NBA Fantasy projections as he leads the slate with the highest value on DraftKings. Coffey also has the highest boom percentage on DraftKings and the fourth-highest on FanDuel in our NBA DFS Boom/Bust Tool. He is tough to ignore on this slate being priced this low. Coffey works perfectly on this slate that is absolutely filled with star power.

PG Shai Gilgeous-Alexander — Grades: A, A | Values: C, B

One of the most fantasy-friendly games on the slate is between the Thunder and Hornets. There are many ways to go with the Hornets side, but the best player on the floor is arguably Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. He will be heavily involved for this Thunder team as they try to get a win after losing five-straight games. The Thunder are double-digit home underdogs in this matchup as they still play without Josh Giddey and Luguentz Dort. They are still implied for 111.25 points, as the Hornets rank third in pace this season, allowing 114.9 points per game. They may struggle offensively, but Gilgeous-Alexander will be involved everywhere.

Even in a few recent blowouts, Gilgeous-Alexander has been able to get there in value. He has scored 29 or more points in eight of his last nine games. The game he missed he only put up eight points on 2-15 shooting as the Thunder got routed by the Timberwolves by 30 points. During that nine-game stretch, Gilgeous-Alexander is averaging 30.2 points and 53.9 DraftKings points per game. He is basically blowout proof given what he has done lately and his ceiling is incredibly high without Giddey in the lineup. Gilgeous-Alexander is in the top six in our NBA ownership projections for both DraftKings and FanDuel. He is a great pay-up option tonight.

Latest NBA DFS Content

C Drew Eubanks — Grades: B, B | Values: A, A

Trail Blazers starting center Drew Eubanks signed his third 10-day contract yesterday, so he will continue to try to keep this team relevant down the stretch. They are coming off their first victory in their last eight games, led by Eubanks, who posted a double-double with 20 points and 12 rebounds. He posted 42 DraftKings points as he shot 9-14 from the field. Eubanks is best suited for FanDuel where he is power forward eligible, which is a huge boost seeing how loaded this slate is at center. He leads the slate on FanDuel with the highest boom percentage in our Boom/Bust Tool. Eubanks is also projected to lead the slate in value in our NBA player projections.

It should come as no surprise that the Trail Blazers are the biggest underdog on the slate. They are on the road against the Hawks, who are 14-point home favorites. The Hawks do not pose that big of a threat defensively, as they rank 27th overall in defensive rating. They are a solid rebounding team led by Clint Capela, who ranks fourth in the league in rebounds per game. The Hawks love playing a big nearly all game with Capela, Onyeka Okongwu or even John Collins, who is questionable to play tonight. Prioritize Eubanks on FanDuel where he is leading the slate in our NBA Fantasy ownership projections. He is simply way too cheap with his multiple eligibilities.

C Nikola Vucevic — Grades: A, A | Values: B, A

It might be weird recommending two centers who are not named Joel Embiid and Nikola Jokic, but there is a bit of concern when they play against each other. They have not played each other since the 2019 season and both of their numbers are not that great in their battles. The savings on Nikola Vucevic seem too good to pass up. He rates out extremely well in our NBA DFS Rankings. The salary still remains very reasonable as Vucevic has averaged a double-double with 20.3 points and 10 rebounds per game in his last four games while shooting 58.3% from the field. During that time, Vucevic is also averaging 39.6 DraftKings points per game. Not great, but fine.

What really sets Vucevic apart from the rest of the center options on this slate is the matchup against the Kings. The Bulls are four-point road favorites in the second-highest total on the slate at 236 points. This is such a great spot for the Bulls, as the Kings rank 28th in defensive rating allowing 115.2 points per game, the second-highest in the league. They also struggle against opposing centers as they allow the second-most points scored in the paint with 51.9 per game and they rank 24th in rebounding percentage. Zach LaVine is questionable which could also boost Vucevic tonight. He is a great mid-range option on this slate.
